Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on February 19, 2022February 19, 2022 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 3 No. 1 Danielle Keeping This will tell us where she’s at in terms of a tilt at the upcoming Galaxy. Can find the arm and run some time here. Can stay better than these and reels off super sectionals. No excuses here. Race 5 No. 6 West On Cider and Master Blaster Another tremendous edition of the Puppy Classic. The 6 will show a dazzling turn of foot after lids up and be hard to stop from getting that arm. A clean lead will see him run electric sections and be hard to catch. The 8 hurtles down the outside here and gets into a spot early. Improves on his heat run again and is the big smokie in the race at odds. 6 to win and save 8 EW Race 8 No. 3 Larkin Monelli He’s a very sneaky hope here and since joining the Campana kennel has found plenty over this trip. Will find again and his map looks very good here. Can lower his PB and get into this finish for top 2 play. Race 12 No. 2 Chasing Jason We are looking to find an early arm here. If he gets it, good luck running him down. Can reel off fast splits when highballing out in front as evidenced by his 34.5 PB. Is racing without luck and can get some here. This is his chance. WENTWORTH PARK Race 2 No. 2 Wicked Spartan Has a class edge on most of these and drawn to give this a very big shake. Coming off a 3rd to Opal Model, he is set to find a forward slot here and is a known 600m dog so his last section will be telling. Hard to stop here. Race 6 No. 4 Fernando Hunter Abysmal last week in a heat of the Bulli Gold Cup. Is not that dog and will forgive that run. Reeled off 29.5 here the start before and that simply wins this. Trouble free passage will see him return to the winners list. Race 10 No. 1 Smokey Cape Old mate Smokey, he’s had more starts this year than the entire field combined I reckon. Loves his racing and is actually coming off a freshen. Box stats are good, field is not strong and represents an EW play in the last. Will keep attacking the line. THE MEADOWS 4 Heats of the Group 1 Superstayers and 8 Heats of the Australian Cup Race 1 No. 4 Fantastic Radley SA staying star who is unstoppable over there. Can absolutely bring that here and his 17 length drubbing of the opposition last start shows he’s right on his game. Bold front runner who has a lovely stride and will give them the race of their life if he steps cleanly here. Silly price. Race 3 No. 6 Major Giblet Wouldn’t know how to let us down. Sticks like Tarzan’s jungle grip and will be one fo the first ones chasing Untapped here. He doesn’t like dogs going past him and finds what he has to most starts to hold his position. Will give his usual honest account at huge odds again. One paced grinder who will stay all day. Race 4 No. 8 Stay Strong Can surprise here at her 2nd 700m start. Looked lost last start and still kept coming to the line. Has raced some very good company over the middle trip and she’s the smokie here who will be prominent early and can hold a forward spot to the end. Race 9 No. 5 Quintessa Bale She ran down a dog who rarely gets passed here last start. She is only young and this is the acid test but has a big future. Can step and show dash and has a solid last section to back it up. Surprise packet here. Race 10 No. 7 Riccarton Rick Just brutal what unfolded last week. Jumped cleanly but needed that extra half length to be off and gone. Drawn to stay right out of this hectic speed battle to the first turn, and he only has to get the through the first turn untouched to quickly become a serious threat. Will go from double figures to looking like an odds on shot if he happens to find the front at any stage. Great play here. Race 12 No. 5 Zippy Tesla Engines don’t come with gear changes like this bloke has. When he drops the clutch, he can unleash a paralysing sprint that nothing can stop. This is his favourite track and it’s simply a matter of navigating a clear path. He does that, and this is over!! Market Market
