The Scout: EPL Week 26 Posted on February 18, 2022February 20, 2022 | Posted by The Scout Arsenal vs Brentford Arsenal (6th) were clinical in their last match, coming away with a 1-0 win over Wolverhampton, while Brentford (14th) have hit a wall, taking just one point from their last six Premier League fixtures. The Gunners are very well placed for a top four finish, just four points behind Manchester United in 4th spot on the table, all while having played three fewer games! Mikel Arteta has his side playing great football losing just once in seven matches. Brentford’s struggles are well documented and their biggest concern is their attack. Striker Ivan Toney scored 33 goals in the Championship last season, but has found the topflight much harder, finding the back of net just six times through 21 matches. Arsenal have kept a clean sheet in five of their last seven fixtures and I think they’re a great chance of adding to that tally here. Suggested Bet: Arsenal Win to Nil @ 2.12* Crystal Palace vs Chelsea Crystal Palace (13th) haven’t recorded a win in five Premier League fixtures but have remained competitive throughout this period. Meanwhile Chelsea (3rd) are coming off what was a much needed 2-0 win over Tottenham last matchday. The Eagles have proven to be a tricky opponent this season in the Premier League. This was on full display in their recent match against West Ham where they came back from a 3-0 deficit, only narrowly losing in the end 3-2. Chelsea has the class advantage everywhere you look in this matchup, but Palace will still be out to attack and press at every opportunity. Wilfried Zaha is back in the Eagles’ lineup and I think this Chelsea defense concedes at some stage. Suggested Bet: Both Teams to Score @ $1.95* Southampton vs Everton Southampton (10th) have had a big few weeks, earning draws against both Manchester sides and beating Tottenham 3-2 in their last three Premier League matches. Things aren’t as positive for Everton (16th) whose win against Leeds last weekend broke a four-game losing streak. Worryingly, the Toffees are just five points clear of a bottom three spot on the table. Constant attacking pressure has always been Southampton’s brand under Ralph Hasenhüttl, and it has paid dividends of late with the Saints scoring 10 goals in their last five matches. A big contributor to this has been striker Che Adams who has scored in back-to-back fixtures. I see this being a free-flowing affair with Adams afforded plenty of opportunity in front of goal. Suggested Bet: Che Adams to Score a Goal @ $2.70* Odds correct as at 6pm, 17th February 2022. Market Market
