Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on August 19, 2022August 23, 2022 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 1 No. 4 Wise Suffolk Missed the start and was disappointing last week. Drops right back to 302m this week and it’s a tactic that some trainers use to good success, especially with early speed dogs. Small field suits and can surprise here. Race 2 No. 7 Pennywise Musters up again out wide here and will look to insert himself into the race by the first turn. Keeps coming and in fine form at the moment and won well last week. Tracks the 5 over here and is far stronger in the run to the line. Top two player. Race 3 No. 7 Entry Level and No. 8 Larkin Monelli The 7 looks the one here if he gets any galloping room at all. Can unleash a big section up the back and run time. Loves it here and has a fast win recently. Box the only concern but can handle wide draws and small field works in his favour. Keep an eye on the 8. He is much better from inside but he was good last time out. Race 5 No. 6 Valachi Super comeback last time and the step up to 405m is ideal now. Gun sprinter who will relish the wide draw and has fast Cannington wins to his name. Ridiculously quoted here and massive EW play. Can win. Race 6 No. 2 West On Brae and No. 1 Who Told Tuff The 2 will look to step here and if he holds the red to the first turn, he will go all the way. The 1 will try and muster under him and it’s a matter of who gets there first. The 2 looks the play EW and a stake save on the 1 at the price. Race 7 No. 8 West On Fever and No. 7 Archibald The step back to 405m suits the 8 here and he isn’t out of this. If he can muster up and stay handy out wide, he can run into this strongly. The 7 will look to go fast here and was super last week. Has a good turn of foot and races well over this track and trip. A great heat of the Winter Sprint with a few stars in it. Race 8 No. 1 Fabian’s Gold and No. 5 Poppa Monno The 1 will go much better back here at Mandurah off the draw. Doesn’t quite get the 700 at Cannington and has raced well here previously. The 5 is the clear and obvious threat. First go over this trip in a race, he will be very hard to hold out once he gets mobile. GEELONG Race 5 No. 4 Indy Fido Phenomenal run in his heat when he walked out and made massive ground just to finish under on the line. He doesn’t normally do that and a better step here will see him a major threat. Runs good sections when wound up. EW all day. Race 6 No. 3 Osprey Phantom and No. 5 Emani Bale A couple at odds. The key here is being run on the 2 turn inner track. Both dogs adept on this circuit. The 3 will look to land handy and he is well placed to run on hard here. Placed his only go track and trip. The 5 was never given a chance last week and she will love the return to the inner track. Pulled off an upset in a similar race a few months back and can do so again. Will reel off that big middle and last section again. Place heavy her. Race 7 No. 8 Xinmin Bale Can run anything on his day. Just needs to sit out wide and smoke the pipe then unleash through the turn. Has a good record track and trip and can deliver the knockout blow if he musters up out wide. Race 8 No. 4 Taste The Gold and No. 5 El Cazador Another couple that are very silly prices here. The 4 is a very good dog and he’s starting to put it all together. He will go fast early and has good strength. The 5 is one of the most consistent dogs in training. Doesn’t know how to run a bad race and loves it here. Will just keep coming. Both great EW shows.
