Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on August 17, 2022 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 5 No. 6 Clifton Cruz Start all important here. Has put in good efforts behind Super Charge and Columbus Monelli and that’s more than enough to be competitive here. Steps well and sticks on with good sections for this grade. Can hit top two. Race 6 No. 3 Flashing Kuna and No. 2 Clifton Matilda If we are being remotely serious, the 3 should walk in. She can however, leave her best at home on occasion. Should she reproduce what she delivered last week, this is over. Clearly the fastest and strongest 520m dog in this. The 2 can run a race here and don’t dismiss her in case the fav doesn’t bring the goods. She is promising and getting better every start. Save there. Race 7 No. 3 Sapphire Rose and No. 6 Big Boy Bundy The 3 is the far superior sprinter in this but she has been out of form lately. However she did spear out last time only to be dragged down and that was a sign of the old her. The old her decimates this field. Take on trust that she is getting back to that. The 6 was again chopped out going into the back last start but rallied to finish on the podium again. He’s close to a win and is the obvious danger. Race 8 No. 4 Theatre Of War They went up absurd odds about this bloke and it was duly taken. His record here is surprisingly very good and his win last start was just powerful. He clearly loves this track, enjoys this trip and can descend again here at double figures. Great EW show with any luck. Race 9 No. 3 Provider Last chance. His starts are costly, he can do silly things, but it simply doesn’t get any easier than this. He has to produce here and there can be no excuse not to hit the podium. If he can get himself a little closer into the back he can go on with it. EW player and this is his chance. THE MEADOWS Race 5 No. 3 Air Outlaw and No. 8 Winnington Bale The 3 is a former SA dog who has a stack of talent and is in the right kennel now in VIC. Can run time and he’s strong. Gets his chance to break through today. The 8 is also a strong performer and he has struck some very hard races lately. Will look to run into this up the back. Both dogs good EW plays here. Race 6 No. 3 Kai Bale The drop back from 600m is perfect. He just doesn’t get that last bit of that trip. Has a blinding middle section that will give him an undeniable chance over this distance. Just needs to get through the first turn in a position then he cuts loose. Big show with any luck at all. GAWLER Race 6 No. 7 Invictus Benson and No. 8 Tommy Lee Rose If the 7 steps and crosses, the 7 wins. In one of the most under rated kennels in SA and has panels on this field. Has not raced for a few months but don’t let bother you, she’s ready. If she makes an error and doesn’t cross, the 8 is right where he wants to be and can deliver here at odds. Can give a tremendous sight in this field and gets a save at an EW quote. Race 7 No. 9 Love And Rain Gets the run out of box 5. Was desperately unlucky last week when held up behind a wall of dogs and had nowhere to go. A newer edition to masters racing, she only needs to find that fence early in this to be there at the end. Race 12 No. 8 Rocket Man Rose Super effort first up from his best box and will take a stack of improvement out of that. Kept finding the line and has run some good races in tougher company at Sale prior to coming to SA. Gets his chance today. Boxed to be there. Market Market
