Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on January 29, 2022January 29, 2022 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 2 No. 6 West On Cup Very promising and while she has a sticky draw, can offset it and run a great race to hit the podium. Makes good decisions for a young dog and if she gets within striking range up the back, can figure at odds. Race 3 No. 7 Magic Salute and No. 8 Pad Up Boone A couple of our regulars set to smoke the pipe here. 6 dogs wants the arm and these 2 don’t. One should go around the field (8) and the other should drive up the fence (7) and strike late. Any up front trouble will only aid us here as I think they can both run huge races. Race 8 No. 3 Production Super effort last week and gets a much better draw here. Will be double figures and that makes him our best bet. Ideally, he will track inside 1 and 2 and make the winning run along the back straight. The closer he lands, the harder he will be to stop. Back him each way as a save but he’s our best play tonight with any luck. THE MEADOWS Race 4 No. 1 My Boy Rockin (E/W) Boxed to go close here. Has had a run of bad draws and finally gets the cherry. Drives up here to land close first turn and a low to sub 30 is on. Race 6 No. 7 Radek Bale and No. 8 Uncles Girl Both fantastic shows at odds here. The 7 made up ridiculous ground last week and is perfectly boxed. The 8 also had no luck last week when in a winning slot, was presented with a wall of dogs. Clear runs for either will see them in the the finish no doubt. Race 7 No. 4 Major Giblet Desperately unlucky not to hold his spot last week over the shorter trip. Back to his pet distance, he will again show good early dash and sticks like melted sugar all the way to the line. Tremendous show again and can offset the box and corner start as he has done so many times before. Race 9 No. 3 Dusty Lyn Best bet here mainly because she is double figures and should be a least half that. Will shock the life out of these 2 favs if they let her run. Her good box manners, middle split and late strength all present as her being very hard to beat. Shouldn’t miss a place and can absolutely win with a little luck. Best play at the Meadows. *Others at odds tonight that can go well each way at the Meadows include race 1 no 2 Jigglypuff and race 12 no 5 Code Blue Sue. WENTWORTH PARK Race 6 No. 4 Fernando Hunter Is quite simply unstoppable with a trouble free run. They can’t beat him if this race pans out cleanly. Has superior acceleration and class and the only thing that can beat him is if they knock him down. Should justify the quote. Race 7 No. 6 Smart Fernando (E/W) e will giHve us a great sight here off a good wide draw. Coming off a strong Richmond 600 where Line of Quality won the race, the drop back here is perfect. He will stay wide and is very strong. Will look the winner at some stage with a clean run. Race 10 No. 7 Springview Noah Was simply sickening for us on this blog, what happened last week at $41 in the derby final. He began well and stalked the 2 in front and had them cold until a poor last turn decision saw him check off heels and go down the short margin. Should have won and gets his chance to atone here tonight. Too 2 player and hard to beat. Racing very well. Market Market
