Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on July 25, 2022July 25, 2022 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 4 No. 5 Kingsbrae Huxley His slow starts have been costly lately but there is no doubting his ability in this class. Only has to offset the box to charge through and be a major force in the straight. A better start will make him incredibly hard to stop here. Race 5 No. 5 No Ideas Her box manners are the first thing that puts her in these races. Reliable beginner with early speed and can handle all draws. Look for her at lids up to go fast and be the one to catch. Great track and trip record here. Race 7 No. 1 Incredible Pinto and No. 2 Sitizano Rocks While this fav will be hard to beat, it’s horribly short for a dog who isn’t over the line and whose last start presented some questions. The inside two can figure here. The 1 has solid form through good races and has won here in fair time while the 2 is underrated and can show speed to land forward here. Any pressure either can put on the 8 will see then hard to stop. Race 8 No. 8 Global Trader The short course bullets go around again here with only Roll Out missing from this line up. 1,6,8 all go 15.8s at their best but the draw brings the 8 up another level here. Perfectly placed out wide, he was ripping ground off the 1 last week in the run to the line in fast time. Great sprinting spectacle here that will be decided late in the race with clean runs. The 8 being the one for us. Race 9 No. 8 Give The Nod and No. 3 Fundamentalist The 8 was given absolutely no peace last week when he led but had a dog lay all over him for the majority of the trip. It told in the end and he had enough to drop out into 3rd. Will look to spear over here and take up the running and be hard to catch if left alone. The 3 is running a lot of placings but it’s not from lack of trying. She just keeps finding one better. Can again be in the finish and is close to breaking through. Race 10 No. 4 Henry Keeping and No. 6 I’m A Tiger The 4 is the best dog in the race but again faces a sticky draw. He did offset it last start however and does have a bit in his favour today, including several of these who will find little if they don’t get the arm solo. The 6 is overs and worth a save and while she is a little one dimensional, she has the track and trip stats to figure if she can cross the 2 early. Good effort here two starts back when 2nd in fair time and the start determines her chances as she needs to find a fraction on her early split over this distance but can do so with a clean step. Race 11 No. 7 Lilly Can Browse and No. 8 Mango Salsa The 7 is going well for Natalee Marshall and she can reproduce the win she delivered here 2 back when leading most the way. Racing well and hard to beat this company. The 8 is trying hard in his races and he has his box here. If he can land handy into the back, he can go through the gears to hit the line here and figure. Both good EW hopes. Race 12 No. 8 Sebastian Mac and No. 7 Corinna Gundi While this fav is explosive out of the boxes most days, he gets wide and can walk to the line sometimes and presents a risk. The 8 only has to land right behind him to give him a stack to worry about. Well boxed and runs good time. The 7 is another who would hit the line if she lobs close. Will be a price and can get into this off her suitable wide box. ANGLE PARK Race 3 No. 4 Sky and Thunder and No. 5 Slippers Tick He may have been a bit disappointing in the run home on Thursday but the 4 is clearly the best dog in this race and his A game wins this. Can unleash big last sections and prepared to forgive the last effort. He just wins with any luck against these if he’s right. Should he not produce again, the 5 is a very silly quote here and can run home into the money. Has been sneaking through his races largely unnoticed and can give these plenty to worry about if the fav isn’t in the finish. Race 4 No. 7 Under Siege Big big price about a very promising dog who will relish the 600 when she finally gets to it. Was beaten a fair way into 2nd on Thursday but made tremendous ground and her last sections have been superb. The key here is a 6 dog field. That will make a huge difference. Look for her to run into this strongly. Race 5 No. 2 Stars Aligned and No. 4 Aston Alpha A couple here who probably shouldn’t be the price they are. The 2 is the one that has been completely missed here. Her form looks woeful but being spat out at the start her last couple has made her job impossible. She isn’t hopeless here and if she gets a first turn run, which she can on this map, she will give a sight. The 4 has dropped back in trip with success in the past in Victoria and can do so again here. He’s versatile and strong and will be threatening with luck up the back. Both dogs worth plays here for top 2 slots. Race 6 No. 4 Singin’ Jules Last chance. Starting to think these boxes and track are not to her liking. She has to talent to nail the start and put these away but slow beginnings have hurt her recently. She must produce tonight or she simply doesn’t like it here. She is the right price to find out one more time. Race 8 No. 6 Seymour Andos Another at a ridiculous quote. If he stepped and showed his best form, he would lead all the way here. Meets Masters company this time and that is what now brings him right into this. Only 3 and 4 starts back he was racing Danyo’s Charlie and I’m Gifted Too. Those two would be $1.10 in this. He was not disgraced either time. He needs to get the start right and offset this box. If he does, he will shake the life out of this at the huge odds. Race 9 No. 2 Hukanui Lady Desperately unlucky not to cross last week. Moves to a better draw now and is racing well. Should at least muster into a forward spot and can run the time to put these away. Looks hard to beat this time. Race 10 No. 5 Our Winnie If she happened to step and cross, it would take an effort for any if these to run her down. Her price makes her a bet here and with her consistent track and trip form, she is far from out of this if she gets the start right. Can hit top 2 to round us out. Market Market
