Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on June 18, 2022 | Posted by Harry Buchanan CANNINGTON Race 1 No. 8 Flashing Kuna and No. 3 West On Fizz The 8 was slightly disappointing last week but she is better than these and only has to get over here to be the one to beat. The 3 is getting better each week and the penny is starting to drop. EW save on her with the 8 looking the main play. Race 2 No. 5 Westdale Stryker Huge price here for a place heavy spec. Runs into his races strongly and has been racing well his last few with late charging efforts. Will probe for runs up the back and can surprise here if the breaks go his way. Race 3 No. 2 Mick Flash The best dog in the race but has some early speed issues. Never the less he’s drawn to get a lovely run here and can drop a sub 30 without too much trouble. Will start his run up the back and very hard to hold out with clear running. Race 8 No. 3 West On Governor Scratchings make his job easier now and still a great EW price. Will find plenty on his run here last week after a string of Mandurah efforts. Very promising and boxed to land close here and be hard to hold out late. Will go sub 30 with a clear run. Race 9 No. 1 Magic Salute Boxed to go close here. Class runner who will stay nailed to the fence and only has to hold his position early to be the one to beat. Close to an EW price and he won’t be missing a place here all things being equal. Race 10 No. 2 Granite Song Classy dog who will look to drive up here and put himself into this early. Great effort behind Momentum last start and if he can find the top this week, will be the one to beat. Racing well and definite top 2 player. Paradise Street Heats Race 5 Momentum steps up to 600m for the first time and has a distinct class edge over his rivals. Racing like he’s needed this rise in trip for some time, he should handle the draw, waltz over and set them alight. Danielle Keeping and Barefoot Tycoon look to be the closers while Yahoo Serious and Exhilarate will attempt the early pressure. Bet – 7 is very short so no bets unless he gets to $2. Race 6 I am his well-documented, number 1 fan and cannot tip against him but Throttle stepping up in trip at this stage is something I am not convinced of. Could have been anything over the sprints and while he probably wins this, he doesn’t need any more edge taken off him by stepping him up this soon. Will ignite the track if he handles the start cleanly. Soda Saville still can’t draw in but he’s close and looks the danger and can upset the fav if something goes wrong. Corporal Kuna runs on. Major Sacrifice a chance to lead but too many tricks. Bets – The 1 should win but with some trepidation so backing the 8 Soda Saville on an EW basis. Race 7 How good seeing Sunset Whistler do his thing last week. Roared into it early and overcome some checks again to put the leader away and win in style. Draws poorly again but is adept in a field and has a knack of putting himself into winning spots early. Looking for a good showing from Amplified here. Should find the top immediately and gives every indication the trip won’t be an issue. High speed dog who will look the one until late in the race. Could go all the way. Hecton’s Boy, Pilbara and Jump Into Action all running on strongly with Pilbara the knockout blow. Bets – both 6 Sunset Whistler and 7 Pilbara here on EW plays. THE MEADOWS Race 5 No. 8 Gotham Baroness and No. 7 Romina Bale Both dogs boxed to give a sight here. The 8 has been placed 5 from 6 off this draw and has a good record track and trip. Will go fast early and put herself into this. Sticks on and is strong. The 7 will look to run on and she’s raced some good company lately. Another who has a super record here and will be hard to beat with any luck. Race 6 No. 6 Hank The Hustler Huge effort last week making a long sustained run from the back. Has raced the best for a long time now and is a big quote here to figure. Will get into his work with a lap to go and will take a power of stopping at a track he races so well at. EW all day. Race 10 No. 8 Ariarne Bale Mixing distances but no doubting her ability when she’s on. Not badly placed back over the sprint and only has to get a clear run into the back to be very hard to stop against these. His gone sub 30 and that would win this easily. Look for her late. WENTWORTH PARK Race 1 No. 5 Lochinvar Lona Only has to offset the draw to win. 29.7 dog who can lead or come from behind and was superb last start making good ground after trouble. Will look ominous if he steps here. Market Market
