Result would have been very different had he not chopped down so quickly. Begins and can lead here. The 8 also copped trouble in the same race and she is better than that. She will look to sweep into this up the back and can surprise here. Both good hopes at odds. Race 4 No. 7 Chasing Jason and No. 3 Oh My Word The 7 returns from a short QLD campaign and he loves racing here. Has the ability to reel off big sectionals when he gets room and sees the arm. Strong and will be a force here with early luck. The 3 is in form for Damo and will again set the pace. Box manners are superb and she’s getting stronger each win. The one to run down. Race 6 No. 4 Zeak Super effort last start when he missed the start then was cut off by the 4 only to be momentarily held up at the first turn when looking ominous. He then ran wide turning for home which ended his chances. Enough excuses that he should have won or gone close and gets another chance here. Needs the clear passage behind the 1 who will lead but can get tired. Top 2 player. Race 8 No. 8 Rebellion Bay Very disappointing last start when he was amazingly run down after leading easily. Should have been check and mate when he found the arm but he did pick up a slight injury which may explain why he was beaten. Gets another chance here and is boxed to muster down the outside and lead again. No excuses this time. Race 9 No. 3 Incredible Pinto and No. 5 Shantaram The 3 is a little warrior who tries her heart out every time. Has a stack of talent and only needs to secure some early luck to be very hard to stop. Good record track and trip. The 5 was huge last start and should have won after copping early trouble and he’s ready. Will be there at the end and if he gets near them up the back they are all in trouble. GAWLER Race 2 No. 4 Agent Four First starter and the mail is that if she brings her trial form to race day, then these maidens will need to go 8.70 early and 22.70 or faster to beat her and that won’t be happening. Bred in the purple by champion sire Fernando Bale out of former speed machine Agent Thirteen, it’s a simple matter of betting on her nailing the start which she apparently does. The rest will be history if she does. Race 5 No. 1 Impress Us and No. 3 Raptor Two dog race for mine. The 1 is boxed to get the job done here. Has good early speed with a lovely turn of foot off the mat. If he leads, it should be over. The 3 brings Victorian form and 30.32 at Cranbourne is electric for a Gawler Friday card. Resumes in a new kennel here and his best would give the red plenty to think about. They should fight it out with similar luck. Race 6 No. 4 Clear View and No. 8 Prussian Spirit The 4 just needs to get the start right and she can dash up to prominent spot here. Won well here last time and has more in the tank in terms of overall time. Look for her to go forward early and be hard to beat. The 8 is very capable and ran a great race for us at odds the other day. Handles the box and has early toe and she sticks on. Does her best work here. Can get into the placings. Race 12 No. 4 Boundin’ Baby Class runner here and her good box manners set her up to go all the way here. Ran a cracking race behind Sunset Toxic last start and has super stats track and trip here. 15 time winner and clearly the one to beat. 2nd best bet for the day. Market Market
