Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on June 1, 2022June 1, 2022 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 4 No. 4 Dandalup Phoenix Liked what he did last week when put out of it early. Made good ground late and can surprise here. Not going as bad as it looks and don’t dismiss. Race 5 No. 6 Jimmy Rocks and No. 4 Little Righteous The 6 was superb last time and arguably should have won. Pratted first turn then couldn’t get past another runner cleanly up the back. Once he did it was too late as the leader got a picnic in front. Expect him to go close here. The 4 gets one last chance to figure. Slow out most starts but stepped too well last week and it cost her. Can run home hard. Race 6 No. 3 My Boy Bailey Looks gifted this company after last week. Pounced on the arm and that was that. Expect the same to happen again and if it does, he won’t be caught this week either. Race 8 No. 7 Stone Cold Augie and No. 3 Yahoo Serious The 7 is ready to do something good. Tremendous effort in the WA Derby behind Hinto and he can put these away with a clear run. Will run time if he steps and goes around untouched. The 3 is the best dog in the race having his 2nd run from a spell. Consistently met the stars of WA racing last prep and looked in need of the run last week. Goes close with any luck. Race 10 No. 7 Sapphire Rose The class runner here and her best will wipe this field. Her early speed and overall sectionals are something these can’t match on her best day. She only has to cross to win. The start is where this race will be decided. Race 11 No. 4 Bad Desire Although the time wasn’t good, he never got a proper crack last week and again got on to heels turning for home. He’s awkward and it can cost him but a better draw here will see him find the fence earlier. EW go. GAWLER Race 1 No. 5 Crown Sally The step up in trip is ideal now and while she hasn’t performed well here in the past, she has had a kennel change since then and is a different dog now. Will be a price and a great EW top two show against these. Race 5 No. 2 Hiring and 4 Aston Prince The 2 only needs a clear run to knock these over. Well boxed and goes super around this track and trip. The 4 is under rated and can win this if he offsets his draw. Another with good stats here, look for him to charge late into the finish. Race 6 No. 7 Safe Drop If he slides over to the fence early, he won’t be missing a place. Just missed last start here and will take a stack of benefit from that. EW all day if he handles his draw. Race 8 No. 8 Black Cobra and No. 2 Cyclone Jane Performed admirably in the recent Howard Aston series. Well boxed, has good early dash and can land handy here to be a main player. The 2 is boxed to go close. She has good form here and looks ready. Breaks 31 and should do so again with a clean getaway. Race 12 No. 2 Yuna Bale Been a while since she saluted but this is the type of race she can score in. One of the stronger types, a few of these won’t be there at the end when they can’t get away in front. Just needs to hold her spot early. WENTWORTH PARK Race 4 No. 4 Grevell Creed Liked what he did last start here at his 2nd attempt around this circuit. Goes fast and chases hard. Made good ground after copping trouble and will take plenty from that. Can get into this with a better first split. Race 8 No. 4 Zambora Charlie Has found his form but is still enigmatic. If he sees the arm up the back he is unstoppable. He doesn’t like getting too far back however and needs to get over to the fence and hold early. Hard to beat if it all goes right for him. Racing well. BALLARAT Race 6 No. 6 Belle Violin and No. 4 Graces Shout The 6 seems to be looking for outside draws now after again making a mess of an inside box here last time and charging home too late. Will go better this time and has a lot of talent. The 4 is a big smokie chance and she has super stats here. Was good in her heat and can surprise these. Backing both. Race 8 No. 4 Ruffiano and No. 7 Xylus Bale The 4 goes fast and he’s hard to catch when he leads outright. Racing well at Traralgon and Warragul and can bring that here. The 7 will try and go fast out wide and cross. Seems to save his best for here and look for him to go with the 4 early. Can stick on. Race 9 No. 3 Tybalt Bale Only has to improve his box manners to be a force here. Slow starts have been costly but he’s better than that and has found a winnable race. Small field perfect. Big chance. Race 10 No. 6 Envy to Burn When he nails the start, not many can go with him early. Has a dazzling turn of foot on his day and look for him to set them alight early. If he leads this field over this trip, he won’t be for catching. Hard to stop here. Market Market
