Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips

CANNINGTON

Race 10 No. 2 Fawn Mower

He’s limited but so are the rest of this lot. Dropping back in trip which will suit him much better. Has a surprisingly good racked over the T/D and boxed to lob close. He’s a few points over what he should be and worth a play each way.

Race 11 No. 9 Quick Tin (Each Way)

This is easier company than what she’s been racing and has a fast win to her credit T/D. If she gets the run out of box 3, she is going to be hard to beat. None of these can go very low 16s so a clean getaway should see her hit the podium.

Race 12 No. 2 Express Malt

Has superior acceleration and boxed to go straight to the front over this short course. Only a mistake at box rise will get her beaten.

ANGLE PARK

Race 5 No. 5 Simple Man

If he nails the start, will take all the stopping. T/D stats super, versatile and runs time. Only lightly raced for a dog in Masters company and his best form and a clear run wins this.

Race 6 No. 1 Razl Daryl and No. 8 Uprise

The 1 is boxed to drive up here and he’s very hard to beat if he gets the arm. The 8 will be the recipient of the best run down the outside with Australia’s hardest fence crasher boxed in 7. Both great each way shows.

Race 7 No. 2 Lot Of Poise

Looks his race with slow beginners all around him. Gradually getting better each week and will look threatening up the back with his middle and last section. Fav in 4 very talented but yet to go round here under race conditions.

Race 10 No. 5 Another Peach and No. 7 Material Girl

The 5 only needs to step to win against these. Her box manners let her down on occasion but being fresh might see her step. The 7 is very underrated and will keep coming to the line. She is better than her form shows. The dog in 1 has a mind of its own and we can capitalise on that with the 5 and 8.
