Trent’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on November 17, 2016November 21, 2016 | Posted by Trent Cooper Trent Cooper’s Preview Race 1: 2016 TABTOUCH INTER DOMINION BEGINS NOV 25 WESTBRED MS PACE MISTER VERSACE (10) has resumed from a spell in fine order, with his last two starts producing an excellent 2nd followed by a win in 1.56.5 over the 2130m on Monday. He is awkwardly drawn but follows out a good beginner and will be hard to beat if he has any luck. SOHO WALL STREET (7) has raced in better company and resumes here with the benefit of a solid Byford trial win under his belt. ARGYLE RED (9) has a big finish and can overcome the draw if they go hard. TRUSTYTREV (1) is always a place chance when drawn well. Tips: 10 7 9 1 Suggested Bet: MISTER VERSACE (10) to win. Race 2: TABTOUCH INTER DOMINION BARRIER DRAW DEC 4 MS PACE HARRY HOO (4) overcame a wide draw over the sprint trip to win in 1.54.4 at his first run after a break. He goes up considerably in class but is well drawn and the one to beat. VC MANOUVRE (9) won two of his three runs before a break in stronger company but is drawn wide and resumes without a trial so monitor the betting. OHOKA DARCY (8) led and was not disgraced when beaten by Mister Daytona last start and will win many races. MEXICANO (3) was only 4.7m away from Galactic Star in 1.53.8 last start and won’t be far away. Tips: 4 9 8 3 Suggested Bet: HARRY HOO (4) to win. Race 3: SLATER GARTRELL SPORTS INTER DOMINION LADIES LUNCHEON DEC 7 MS PACE BETTOR BE SUPREME (9) resumed from a 13 month absence with an easy win before stepping up in class and beating Mitch Maguire and Mista Shark. She is not as well drawn tonight but that is offset by a drop in class. THE REVOLUTION (5) continues to tease as he takes his losing sequence to 13 but has the ability to win this. BERT THE BOOKIE (1) doesn’t have the class of the other pair but is drawn to be a great each way chance. HEEZ ABOUT TO ROCK (7) led and had his chance last week but can still be competitive. Tips: 9 5 1 7 Suggested Bet: BERT THE BOOKIE (1) each way. Race 4: SLATER GARTRELL SPORTS INTER DOMINION GOLF DAY DEC 7 THE KERSLEY QUALIFYING HEAT 3 MY SAMANTHA JANE (1) led throughout two starts back to beat a weaker field before finishing midfield in a stand last week. She looks the leader here and will give them something to catch. OUR REGAL IDEAL (7) was a comfortable winner in easier company before facing the breeze and finishing 8th to RYCROFT (6) and should be in the finish with a softer run. JAMBIANI (8) is likely to settle at the rear but has a nice turn of foot if they don’t go too slow. RYCROFT (6) is better suited racing near the lead and should be able to do that here. Tips: 1 7 8 6 Suggested Bet: MY SAMANTHA JANE (1) to win. Race 5: TABTOUCH INTER DOMINION GALA DINNER DEC 8 GOLDEN NUGGET PRELUDE MS PACE SPRINTER (3) faced the breeze when a good winner before having his chance when a 3.9m 4th to Soho Tribeca but they did get home in 54.6 on that occasion. He has won over $200,000 in stakes, is proven at this level and has drawn nicely. VANQUISHED (2) has won his last three in different styles and is ready for the rise in class. NATURAL DISASTER (1) is only a C1 but looks to have plenty of ability and has the draw to be competitive. IDEAL TYSON (9) is racing well but is likely to have to work from this draw. Tips: 3 2 1 9 Suggested Bet: VANQUISHED (2) each way. SuperPick - Race 5 No. 2 VANQUISHED - Money Back – Run 2nd Race 6: BOOK NOW FOR THE 2016 TABTOUCH INTER DOMINION MARES MS PACE IDEAL ALICE (9) has been taking on the state’s best pacer and performed credibly last start when 4th to Waylade when the winner rated 1.53.6 for the 2130m. She drops considerably in class and can overcome the draw. HIDDEN BAD (7) was ultra-impressive in winning three in a row and her last effort can be overlooked as she was wide when they were sprinting a long way from home. QUITE A DELIGHT (10) will be fitter for her first up run and can figure. FAY DARLING (1) is promising and has a good draw but is a long way up in class. Tips: 9 7 10 1 Suggested Bet: IDEAL ALICE (9) to win. Race 7: PAT CRANLEY MEMORIAL MS PACE FREYBERG (6) has been racing in the best company in NSW and won in 1.51.0 four starts back and finished a 4.8m 3rd to Lennytheshark at his last run. He will be suited by a likely fast early tempo and his class should put him right in the finish. IMA CONNOISSEUR (7) has used his dazzling gate speed to win his last six starts on end and will give them something to catch if he finds the front. CYAMACH (1) may not have the speed to hold up but should be a big improver from the pole. RED SALUTE (2) can run a race if he finds the pegs first. Tips: 6 7 1 2 Suggested Bet: FREYBERG (6) to win. Race 8: CHECK IN WITH TABTOUCH MS PACE SOHO TRIBECA (4) made his WA debut when he led throughout to beat a crack field of 4YO’s, running home in 54.6. This is actually a drop in class and he looks very hard to beat. COMMANDER CHAPEL (8) was a comfortable last start all the way winner and looks the main danger but has a wide draw to overcome. CUT FOR AN ACE (2) has plenty of ability and may get to show it from this barrier. THREE BLIND MICE (3) is racing consistently and won’t be far away from this barrier. Tips: 4 8 2 3 Suggested Bet: SOHO TRIBECA (4) to win. Race 9: THE SPORTS DAILY MS PACE TWOANDAHALF TIGERS (8) has resumed from a spell with good placings behind Rycroft and Commander Chapel. He is likely to be in for a tough run but his class can see him through. BHAGWAN (1) isn’t racing at his best but must be respected from this draw. ATLASTALONE (7) was a good last start 4th in better company and would give them something to catch if he somehow managed to find the front. AWESUM TEDDY (4) has only been placed once in his last 11 starts but is better than that. Tips: 8 1 7 4 Suggested Bet: TWOANDAHALF TIGERS (8) to win. Race 10: SUPERPICK NOW ON TABTOUCH MS PACE QTOWN RIP ROARING (1) was well driven when he got up to beat Fay Darling two starts ago. This field is probably weaker and he looks hard to beat if you can forgive his disappointing effort last week. SOHO WONDER (5) is racing well and will be extremely hard to catch if he can find the front. KISS CHASEY (8) has only been placed once in his last six starts but his last effort was encouraging and must be considered. LORD LOMBO (2) should get a nice run and won’t be far away. Tips: 1 5 8 2 Suggested Bet: QTOWN RIP ROARING (1) to win. Bet Now
