Trent’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on November 11, 2016November 13, 2016 | Posted by Trent Cooper Trent Cooper’s Preview Race 1: PETER CHURCH WESTBRED MS PACE SHEER ROCKNROLL (1) has won eight of her last nine starts including her last five on the trot and should add to that tally here. She was forced to face the breeze last start but was still too strong and looks the leader here. NEW WORLD ORDER (3) faced the breeze when a close 2nd to Thereugo last week and is likely to have to take up that position again tonight. TANAKA EAGLE (2) looks a good place chance from the draw. INDOMITABLE (8) is the class runner of the field at her best and resumes from a spell after trialling nicely. Tips: 1 3 2 8 Suggested Bet: SHEER ROCKNROLL (1) to win. Race 2: FULLER MS PACE JOHN OF ARC (8) performed well at his first two runs back from a spell before facing the breeze and proving too strong for Ideal Alice in 1.54.4 over this distance. He has drawn the front line so can stay in front of his main rival and is the one to beat. RISK (11) is yet to miss a place in WA and is the obvious danger. He led throughout for a comfortable win last week but has shown that he can come from behind. MOHEGAN SUN (1) looks a place chance from the draw, while BOUNTY EYRE (4) is racing consistently. Tips: 8 11 1 4 Suggested Bet: JOHN OF ARC (8) to win. SuperPick - Race No. 8 JOHN OF ARC - Money Back – Run 2nd Race 3: ATKIN MS PACE HEEZ ABOUT TO ROCK (2) led throughout for a 1.56.6 win over the 2130m five starts ago and hasn’t had much luck since. He looks the leader tonight and is a great chance to bounce back into the winners’ circle. THE REVOLUTION (8) hasn’t won in 12 starts and was extremely disappointing as a $1.40 favourite last week when he led but over raced and finished near the rear. His previous form was good enough but take on trust. MIGHTY MAJOR (4) dead-heated at Northam on Tuesday and could go on with it. BERT THE BOOKIE (3) is consistent and shouldn’t be far away. Tips: 2 8 4 3 Suggested Bet: HEEZ ABOUT TO ROCK (2) to win. Race 4: ITZSTEIN MARES MS PACE DODOLICIOUS (5) has won 14 of her 23 starts and resumed from a spell with a comfortable win in solid time. She should be fitter for that run and is clearly the one to beat. HIDDEN BAD (9) has gone to a new level at her last three and is showing that she can match the favourite but the draw is a concern. FOXY DAME (1) is a rung below the best mares but looks a good place chance from the draw. FOUR LEGGED FRENZY (3) continues to race consistently and won’t be far away. Tips: 5 9 1 2 Suggested Bet: DODOLICIOUS (5) to win. Race 5: CARR THE KERSLEY QUALIFYING HEAT 2 COMMANDER CHAPEL (1) has only won one of his last 15 starts but that was when he found the front and that scenario is likely here. He struggled to make up ground last week but this looks more suitable. TWOANDAHALF TIGERS (7) was a strong 2nd to RYCROFT (12) last week and will be fitter for that first run back from a spell. JAMBIANI (6) has hit top form and will be dangerous if he gets the right run. RYCROFT (12) was a good last start winner in similar company but is better suited racing in or near the lead. Tips: 1 7 6 12 Suggested Bet: COMMANDER CHAPEL (1) to win. Race 6: POBJOY MS PACE VANQUISHED (12) has won nine of his 18 race starts, including a strong win in easier company here last week. He is drawn poorly again tonight and goes up in class but is still the one to beat. BRAEVIEW BOMBER (9) has been racing extremely well, including a great 2nd to Risk after sitting outside that pacer last week and can overcome the wide draw. THE STORM CHIEF (7) broke through for a deserved victory last week and will be running on. MACH DENARIO (1) battled on well to finish 3rd to Rycroft and may hold the front tonight. Tips: 12 9 7 1 Suggested Bet: VANQUISHED (12) to win. Race 7: COWDEN LIMITED INSURANCE BROKERS BRENNAN MEMORIAL MS PACE BEAUDIENE BOAZ (3) has only won one of his last seven but there has been nothing wrong with his recent efforts, including a close last start 2nd to Tricky Styx. He is better drawn tonight and can assert his authority early in the race tonight. BETTORS FIRE (8) is racing well and would be hard to beat if he crossed at the start. WAYLADE (2) is getting back to his best form and is drawn perfectly. DELIGHTFUL OFFER (6) is on the way up and this will be a good test for him in this company. Tips: 3 8 2 6 Suggested Bet: BEAUDIENE BOAZ (3) to win. Race 8: HATELEY DISCRETIONARY HANDICAP SS PACE CHANGE STRIDE (10) has been taking on and competing well with the state’s best pacers, including finishing just behind the placegetters at three of his last four starts. He will appreciate the drop in class and can overcome the 30m handicap. WALTZING WITH CULLEN (9) has improved at each of his three starts this campaign and will give a great sight. GLOW BRIGHT (3) is drawn to settle close to the lead and shouldn’t be far away. SCOT BAY (1) goes up in class but is one of only two on the front line and steps well. Tips: 10 9 3 1 Suggested Bet: CHANGE STRIDE (10) each way. Race 9: KERAI TROTTERS MOBILE CARDIGAN BOKO (6) is the state’s best trotter and has found the front and won by big margins at his last two starts. He is reasonably well drawn and looks likely to bring up the hat-trick here. LIGHTNING CALDER (7) is racing consistently and looks the main danger on the strength of his last start win. ARMED FORCE (9) is unreliable but has won his last two mobile events and can be in the money despite the draw. ENJOY A COLDIE (10) is a consistent type and can be placed with luck in running. Tips: 6 7 9 10 Suggested Bet: CARDIGAN BOKO (6) to win. Race 10: ALDANA MS PACE ZACHARIA (1) hasn’t finished closer than 7th in his last five starts and is racing well below his best but is the one to beat given the poor quality of his opposition. JUS LIVINTHEDREAM (6) is also below his top but this is a big drop in class and he must be considered. ANOTHER AYJAY (7) resumes here without a trial but would be a winning hope if near his peak. IT’S A MONET (3) was a fair effort at big odds last week and could be in the money. Tips: 1 6 7 3 Suggested Bet: ZACHARIA (1) to win. Bet Now
