Mandurah 12 March – Greyhounds Preview Posted on March 11, 2016 | Posted by David Shortte Shortte’s Tips BOLD INTENTION (Race 3 Number 1): In-form sprinter who has won 3 of his last 4 starts at this venue and last week recorded a new personal best time of 27.30. Normally a reliable beginner and from this gun draw should be able to push through into a lovely spot early in the race. Normally strong to the line and this looks a very suitable assignment. Hard to beat. YUNDERUP DOZER (Race 4 Number 2): Racing very consistently with placings at his last 5 starts – all at city free to all level and all in the 27.40 range. From 5 tries from this draw has 2 wins and 2 placings and this race appears a touch easier than what he has run into in recent weeks. There are some handy chasers in this but he deserves to win one and this looks ideal. Should return to the winner’s list here. ODD COUPLE (Race 10 Number 2): Former NSW chaser who has been impressive since arriving in WA managing 2 wins and a second here over this trip. The wins in 22.85 and 22.78 were impressive and overcame trouble last time out when finishing on for second. Not brilliant early but strong to the line and in this event I can see him being camped on Pilbara Blue and being too strong in the home straight. Can continue on his winning way.
