Gator’s Buy & Sell: Week 4 Posted on March 5, 2019March 18, 2019 | Posted by David Gately BUY Zebulon Checked at a key stage and then held up at Group 3 level in the Shaftesbury Avenue Stakes. Made up a stack of ground running home race-fastest final 200m of 11.34s. Ready to win! Mystic Journey Cleared out for dominant Group 1 win in Australian Guineas, running faster time than G2 Blamey Stakes on the day for older horses. Took a little while to poke her head through the gap but once she did, it was over quickly. Looks a star! Dyslexic Nice trial then top return at Randwick in the Group 2 Guy Walter from last off slow speed. Made good ground on the rail and her last 600m of 33.04s was the fastest of the day, clearly. SELL Island Daze Had every chance in the Mittys Handicap down the straight. Honest but lacks the class in this grade, so will appreciate dropping back a peg. Good ‘n’ Fast Just an average effort again from him over 1400m. Jury is out after a series of subpar runs. Madam Rouge Didn’t measure up in hot Surround Stakes at Group 1 level. Put herself into the race on the turn but was zero chance at the 200m. May have to lower their sights with her. Feature Races Feature Races
