Chris’ Doomben Best Bets Posted on February 10, 2017February 10, 2017 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Preview RACE 4 No. 4 Ahndras Lightly raced promising filly from the Edmonds stable who looks all set to bring up the hat trick of wins tomorrow. She was dominant when stepped up to this distance range at the Sunshine Coast last start with Jeff Lloyd setting off near the 800m mark sprinting to the lead into the straight and keeping going strongly right to the line. Similar tactics tomorrow suggest she can win again. SuperPick - Race 4 No. 4 Ahndras - Profit Plus – 25% (Win) RACE 5 No. 3 Havasay Liam Birchley trained galloper who is so close to a win, could this be his day? To be honest I’d prefer over longer however from a reasonable gate Damian Browne should be able to slot this one in around midfield no worse, we know he has a strong finishing burst and if within striking distance in the straight will be very hard to hold out. RACE 9 No. 8 Fiery Heights Another one from the Edmonds stable who looks well placed to break though tomorrow. Ridden back from a wide gate last start he still couldn’t get on the track racing deep without cover, the effort to wind up less than 2 lengths away was a good one. From a perfect draw this time around he’ll be ridden forward again and prove very hard to beat.
