RACE 2 No. 5 Miss Sara

Likely to be short odds however looks the ‘good thing’ of the day facing much easier opposition than she has at the majority of her 5 starts to date. Liked the way she finished the race off behind Plumaro here last week suggesting the step up to 1350m tomorrow is ideal. She’s placed on Heavy and Soft ground which is a big plus with a wet surface certain tomorrow.

RACE 3 No. 6 Bred For Luck

Way over the odds in my opinion tomorrow having won her past three straight, the last couple on Soft and Heavy tracks with authority. Suited by a solid tempo at the Sunshine Coast last start she rounded up her rivals in the straight to race away & score by 2 lengths. Unbeaten on Heavy going coupled with the step up to 1600m tomorrow suits her down to the ground. Great value.

RACE 8 No. 7 Inspired Estelle

Quality mare who was a well backed winner at Doomben two starts back beating the in-form Scallopini. Stepping up from Class 2 to Class 6 she wasn’t suited at all in a sprint home won by the leader same track last start yet wound up only 3 lengths away. Drawn perfectly tomorrow Jeff Lloyd will have perfectly positioned to strike in the straight.
