Chris Nelson’s Sunshine Coast Best Bets Posted on February 18, 2022February 19, 2022 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 1 No.4 La Amigo Very speedy customer who charged around this track winning a recent trial giving nothing else a chance going to the line under no pressure and running slick time in the process. This race is on the Poly which should suit his style just powering along in front, hard to see the opposition running him down! RACE 3 No.14 Scream Queen Ex Victorian filly now trained locally in the care of Melissa Taylor. Thought she did a good job at her first local start when fighting on gamely after leading and having no peace up front here last month. She’s since trialled strongly leading throughout to win a heat here in slick time. She doesn’t face any major opposition tonight and I’m expecting her to give a big sight! RACE 4 No.11 Menazzi Locally trained galloper from the leading Stuart Kendrick stable resuming this evening. Placed both first up attempts to date plus a second up winner he should be all ready to go judging by his recent trial win her in slick time sitting outside the lead before poking his head in front late without being asked for any real effort. Not convinced he’ll race up on the speed tonight however he’s the one to beat wherever he lands in the run. Quaddie 14, 13, 12 11, 8, 6 2, 3 3, 10 Market Market
