RACE 5 No.6 Ginza

Plenty of rain around the Sunshine Coast area this week and particularly today with 100mm possible however I highly doubt we’ll see that much. In great form this prep Ginza he’s a last start winner who placed all three prior runs this prep. Draws awkwardly on paper however with the heavy ground I’d expect them to be running on down the outside in the straight, that’s exactly where he’ll be!

RACE 6 No.9 The Lioness

Another consistent type she’s only missed the placings once in her 7 starts to date which includes 3 wins with the latest of those being two back when resuming at the Gold Coast driving late to score. The unplaced effort came at Ipswich last time out beaten less than a length after racing wide the entire trip. Yet to race on heavy ground however her soft record is a good one.

RACE 8 No.9 Sip It Slow

Locally trained mare who is rarely far away. She looks close to another win based on her recent efforts running on at the end of 1000m two back before boxing on well up to the 1350m last time out at Ipswich. She stays around that trip tonight and note was beaten only an eyelash at her only heavy track outing. Drawn well for the in-form Tiff Brooker who rides for Stuart Kendrick, they have been a lethal combination of late.
