RACE 3 No.4 Savacool

Two runs back from a break with the latest being a close up effort in Listed company at Eagle Farm on Stradbroke Day. Based on that run she did appear to be looking for a shade further however kept on the fresh side with 3 weeks between starts the 1600m from an ideal draw will still be suitable. Yet to see heavy ground however her soft track stats are impressive.

RACE 7 No.1 Big Duke

Placegetter in last Saturday’s 3000m marathon at Eagle Farm he’s back to the 2400m tomorrow in the Caloundra Cup however it’s hard to see him being beaten. Placed in the Brisbane Cup the run prior he will get through the wet ground without any problems and should be able to outstay his lesser performed rivals in what is going to be a real slog on the soggy surface.

RACE 8 No.3 Jamaican Rain

Winner of this race last year in a canter on favourable wet ground she’ll once again get conditions to suit. She’s on the quick back up tomorrow off a close finishing effort in the Group 1 Tiara last week when only just over a length behind some very smart types. She’ll either lead or sit right on the pace and from there will prove the one to beat.
