RACE 3 – No.6 Legendary Luke

Consistent galloper who’s been doing most of his recent racing in Queensland and although yet to break through this preparation has rarely been far from the action. Just may have failed to run out a strong mile last time when racing away with a good lead 200 only to be cut down late. Back to 1500m tomorrow he looks a good each-way bet at a value price.

RACE 7 – No.2 Torgersen

Chris Waller trained galloper who was narrowly beaten in the Group 3 Bill Ritchie three starts back before finishing close up behind Hauraki in the Group 1 Epsom next run. Back to restricted grade last time out he overraced and just didn’t finish off at Randwick. Note the blinkers come off tomorrow suggesting he’s a big chance to settle better, rise to 1800m should also help.

RACE 9 – No.8 Perfect Dare

Matt Dunn trained gelding who resumes tomorrow holding a very strong first up record winning 2 of his 3 attempts to date. Competitive in Group and Listed races last campaign behind some very good types such as Counterattack and Takedown holds him in good stead for tomorrow’s assignment. Given a very easy hit out in a recent Deagon trial he should run well if solid in the market.
