Chris Nelson’s Rosehill Preview Posted on August 26, 2016 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 1 No.3 Birds Of Tokyo Victorian trained mare from the Luke Oliver stable who will be well suited to the Heavy conditions tomorrow (Heavy 9 as I type). Only had the one local start which was at Randwick 3 weeks ago winning by over 6 lengths on a Heavy 10 bog! After the claim carries only a kilo more and will prove very hard to beat once again. RACE 6 No.4 Sir Bacchus Taking a chance with this Chris Waller trainer 4yo on the Heavy ground as I think he’s a very good horse in the making. Very impressive winning his first two starts here last campaign coming from the back in unsuitably run races before failing at Doomben late May in a race where nothing made any ground from the back. Tipped straight out for a break he’s had a recent trial and if there’s support for him first up tomorrow it’s well worth following! RACE 9 No.3 We’re Sure Promising gelding who can unleash a devastating finish which was the case here a fortnight back when powering home from last to run home right over the top of his rivals. His previous form was very consistent and although rising in weight here he’s well suited on rain affected ground. Look for him to be charging home late.
