RACE 3 No.2 Flamboyer

Kelly Doughty trained sprinter who has been racing in the peak of form this time in. A winner over 1400m at Eagle Farm and the Sunshine Coast during the carnival in dashing fashion his last couple of efforts have been close up over 1600m and again 1400m last time out. He should cross and led these and with the cut in the ground prove very hard to run down in the straight.

RACE 6 No.16 O’Reilly Cyrus

Lightly raced 3yo filly from the Liam Birchley stable who although facing the older horses for the first time tomorrow looks suited with a ‘postage stamp’ weight and distance rise up to 1350m. She’s been strong to the line both starts this time in having to go back off wide gates, that won’t be the case tomorrow as she can slot in a lot closer from a perfect draw.

RACE 8 No.9 My Cousin Bossy

Very consistent Ballina trained galloper who has only had the 8 starts for 4 wins and 3 placings. Bumped into Saturday Class 3 grade winner Hi I’m Back before winning at that level himself last time out at Eagle Farm lumping 59kg to victory. Although facing stiffer opposition tomorrow he drops 3kg and draws the right gate to again race up on the pace.
