Chris Nelson’s Rosehill Best Bets Posted on August 7, 2020 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 6 No.3 Rulership The Schweppes Rosebud is a real feature of tomorrow’s meeting and this resuming galloper from the Team Snowden yard looks right in it up to his ears. He was very good at his first two starts winning on debut before beating all bar Hanseatic in the Blue Diamond. His only other two outings were ok both with valid excuses though. Easily won a recent lead up trial which is a great guide from this yard. RACE 7 No.13 Savatiano Resuming mare from the Godolphin yard who is definitely at her best when on the fresh side. Probably not completely at her peak on heavy ground however she gets through it ok, her chances will be increased should we go around on a soft surface. Bolted in first up last prep before giving The Bostonian a run for his money second up at Group 1 level. Trialled well and will prove tough to run down. RACE 9 No.8 Fender Unbeaten galloper from the Brett Cavanough stable at Scone who resumes tomorrow looking to make it 4 from 4. He raised the bar at all runs last prep rounding out with a Highway win at Randwick before being sent for a well-deserved break. Bolted in a recent Tamworth trial and although facing his toughest task to date he is worth backing on an each-way basis. Quaddie 3, 4, 5 4, 10, 13 7, 10 1, 2, 7, 8 Market Market
