Chris Nelson’s Randwick Best Bets Posted on December 30, 2021December 30, 2021 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 3 No.1 Herman Hesse Consistent stayer who looks close to another win. Stepped up to 2400m his past couple beating all bar the winner he stays at the trip and with the 3kg claim for Tyler Schiller gets in with a kilo less than he carried when a solid second two back this grade. He’s since run another second in Listed grade which sets him up well for tomorrow’s race. RACE 4 No.11 Finally Realise Resumes tomorrow having placed 2 of his 3 first up attempts to date. He raced very consistently right through his last preparation finishing no further back than 4th at his eight starts which included two victories. Two trial wins suggest he’s all set to go and drawn well jockey Brock Ryan can make good use of the favourable gate taking up a prominent position early on. RACE 8 No.1 Toomuchtobear Promising type from the Waller yard who looked the goods winning first up here on the main track charging home from the back to score. The only runner in the race to break 34 seconds his final 600 is a scary thought for his rivals as he should have plenty of improvement still to come. Up a little in grade he draws well and carries the same weight as he did first up after Reece Jones’ claim. Quaddie 4, 1, 5 1 4, 8, 2, 3 3, 5, 4 Market Market
