He beat all bar the winner Mocambo in a dash home at the Sunshine Coast last start and although this is a tougher race I’m expecting him to measure up. Based on that he was expected to run well in the Gold Edition at Eagle Farm however that wasn’t the case. He did strike some interference however it might have been more of a case he didn’t handle the firmer surface. Happy to give another chance at good odds. RACE 9 No.4 Isotope Patience required as we have to wait right until the final race for the return of this most promising mare who has won 5 of her 10 career starts. She’s very good fresh, handles all types of going and certainly looked to have plenty in the tank when a close second here in a recent barrier trial.
