Chris Nelson’s Randwick Best Bets Posted on June 10, 2022June 10, 2022 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 2 No.5 Midnight In Tokyo Gold Coast trained filly from the Kacy Fogden yard who although a month or so between runs should still prove tough to beat tomorrow. Comes out of a very strong form race the Ken Russell at the Gold Coast early in May when almost turning over the unbeaten Nettuno with Sheeza Belter clocking in 3rd. That filly has since gone on to bolt in the Sires Produce at Eagle Farm & is one of the main fancies in Saturday’s Group 1 J J Atkins. RACE 5 No.7 Finepoint Chris Waller had this Pins filly accepted for the Gunsynd at Eagle Farm however has decided to stay home instead, I thought she’d be tough to beat in whatever race she went around in. Dominant winning in midweek company at Warwick Farm she looks right up to handling the step to Saturday grade. Very promising I’m expecting her to win again. RACE 7 No.4 Oscar Zulu This may well be the last time I ever tip this horse… He disappointed at his latest start when sent north to tackle tougher company & I couldn’t find an excuse. However… his prior run at Gosford in the Takeover Target was a good one which has me giving him another chance. If he ran up to that he’d be very hard to beat here.
