RACE 6 No.9 Removal

Locally trained galloper who returns from a break in a suitable race tomorrow. A winner first up last prep he was then sent around in some stronger races with the best of those being a 2.2 length defeat in the Group 3 George Moore behind Chapter And Verse over the summer carnival. He’ll park off what appears a strong speed and come with a rush late.

RACE 7 No.14 Gem Of Scotland

Yes the 3yo Jewel is a tough race with more than a few winning chances, generally not the sort of race I’d suggest contains the best bet however it’s that sort of day am I am confident this filly will prove hard to beat. Unbeaten 3 from 3 fresh, won only wet track start by 6.5 lengths & has trialled very well. She’ll be steaming home late.

RACE 8 No.10 Grey Missile

Really knuckled down since joining the Edmonds team on the Gold Coast winning at his first run for the yard at the Sunshine Coast before putting in a cracking run last start when wide all the way yet going down only narrowly to Manaya. They meet again here however the wet conditions clearly favour Grey Missile and the 2kg weight swing won’t hurt either. Can push on from the wide gate, find a spot and prove tough to beat.
