Chris Nelson’s Eagle Farm Best Bets Posted on April 1, 2022April 1, 2022 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 1 No.2 Sayl Lindsay Hatch really has this bloke humming along since joining his stable. Once a little maligned that’s certainly not the case now as he showed winning at Doomben two starts back in dominant fashion relishing the step up to 2200m. Freshened up he reappeared at the Gold Coast a fortnight back running on well late over 1800m. Fitter and facing 2200m again tomorrow all looks made to order. RACE 2 No.3 Hang Five Securing ‘black figures’ might be difficult however a winner is a winner and he simply looks too good for his rivals on Saturday. Motored home into second on debut coming wide (winner took shortcuts) before back and very wide here last start rounding up his rivals from last to score. Facts and figures suggest all point to 1400m being a perfect step up in trip for him. RACE 3 No.9 Abracadazzle Tony Gollan trained mare who looks well placed on Saturday. She looked a ‘good thing beaten’ at Doomben two back when unable to gain clear running until all too late, once able to she flashed home to just miss out. Up to Class 6 company last start she was far from disgraced beaten just over a length. Back to a Class 3 tomorrow she gets her chance. Quaddie 11, 1, 2, 7 9, 1, 3, 7, 6 3, 1, 5 11, 3, 7 Market Market
