RACE 1 No.8 Aswaat

Rob Heathcote is having a great run with his team at the moment both in town and at the provincials. This mare has been a model of consistency at the Sunshine Coast since joining the stable looking very unlucky two back before winning well last time against the race tempo. The step to 1800m tomorrow shouldn’t pose any problems, she draws well and will carry no weight.

RACE 5 No.4 Je Suis Belle

Toowoomba mare who has come back in career best form this prep. She put the writing on the wall first up beating all bar the smart Shooting For Gold before stepping up to 1200m second up, that trip appeared suspect however she hit the line well into 3rd spot. Back to 1000m here last time she raced on the speed before powering away. Can win again!

RACE 6 No.3 Royal Hale

Looked to have found the right race last start which proved to be the case & tomorrow’s looks just as suitable. Ridden positively from the outset by Jaden Lloyd he parked second before taking over into the straight and putting his stamp on the race coming clear soon after. Well drawn again he can again find a spot early and even with the rise in weight looks too good again.
