Chris Nelson’s Doomben Best Bets Posted on April 9, 2020April 9, 2020 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 4 No.2 Star Of Michelin Looks all set for a big future this Sunshine Coast galloper who came with a barnstorming finish to win at Eagle Farm last start charging home from the back of the field to pounce on the leaders at the 150m racing away to the line. As with Profit in the later race he too faces the older horses for the first time however I’m confident can overcome that hurdle. RACE 6 No.3 Ballistic Boy Lightly raced promising type who turned in real ‘eye catcher’ here a fortnight back when charging home late in a race which was certainly not run to suit. He drew poorly and had very little option than to drift back in a race where the leader was able to sit and sprint, his closing sectional was very strong suggesting he is again ready to win. RACE 7 No.14 Profit Chris Anderson trained 3yo who has accepted for both this and the previous race, hoping he goes around in this one as he’s so well placed. Freshened up after placing at Eagle Farm three weeks back where he gave away plenty of weight to his rivals he gets in here against the older horses with only 54 kilos on his back. He’s better than his opposition and should be winning. Best Value Race 5 No.8 Populist Quaddie 3, 4, 5 1, 14 1, 2, 3 8, 12, 13 Market Market
