RACE 2 No.4 Natch

Tony Gollan trained galloper who looks ideally placed to make it 2 from 2 this time in. Finished the race off strongly to score fresh at Toowoomba on their Cup day and draws perfectly to trail the speedy pair Ef Troop and I’ve Gotta Nel. Hopefully they cut at one another allowing him to have the last shot at the pair in the straight.

RACE 5 No.1 Dealmaker

Chris Waller trained colt on a Queensland Derby path who looks to hold an edge over the majority of his rivals. He comes out of the Group 3 2000m Packer Plate at Randwick last start where he beat all bar the winner coming on solidly late backing up his Carbine Club placing prior. An impressive win here will install him favourite in early Derby markets.

RACE 6 No.7 Disruptor

Another NSW galloper who has only had a couple of starts placing on debut back in October before resuming with a very good second at Randwick behind the much hyped Reloaded on Anzac Day. Parked 5 deep without any cover he was well entitled to fade down the straight however he stuck to his task extremely well. Wide draw again not ideal however with luck can win.
