Race 1

TORREVEAN ENVY ME (8) didn’t have much luck early last start before making good sharp ground from the tail of the field and looks hard to hold out in this. LIANAKA (2) is capable of better but must be respected as she looks the early leader but disappointed last time out. MOJITO HEAVEN (9) trialled well and then didn’t have much luck late last Sunday, expecting further improvement and a win is around the corner. DUNWERKEN (3) and SHES A SWEETMOVER (7) are novelty chances with a chance to THE LIONS DEN (6) who has shown some promise and high speed, keep safe.

Suggested Bet: TORREVEAN ENVY ME (8) to win.

Race 2

Open race. SHES A MARE (7) is ready to win but she always requires a bit of luck and wouldn’t want to be diving in too short, made good ground last time out and go well in this. SAVE THIS DANCE (6) is a chance to ping across and be handy and was a gutsy win last time out. SUKHOVEY WINDCHIME (4) is capable in this grade and can lob handy and run well. ALTAR (1) drawn to get a soft run, respect. LETS ROCK TONIGHT (2) capable of better. VELVET SHADOW (3) can win but needs some luck from a tricky draw for him. STARANNA (8) a novelty chance but won’t get the soft runs like previous starts.

Suggested Bet: SHES A MARE (7) to win.

Race 3

DRIVE LINE (2) returns and strikes a suitable grade from a suitable draw, he ticks a lot of boxes and Brad Stampalia should have him ready to rock and roll for this, go close. CHIEF COPY (3) could lob a handy position as the pole marker is a slow beginner and has match fitness on his side, go well. BASINGHALL (4) has depth to be driven several ways but lacks early speed. ULTIMATE ZIPPER (8) will be running on, didn’t really flatter last time out in a moderate last section but this looks more suitable to run on. CREATACEOUS (9) will also be getting home well.

Suggested Bet: DRIVE LINE (2) to win.

Race 4

GALVINSTON JOHN (1) looks the early leader and will run well in this, middle distance is a bit of a query as he can get fiery and makes him vulnerable late and that could be from EYE BETTER (7) who is not at her best but has the best draw she’s seen in a while and looks dangerous in this, has been catching the eye to suggest she’s ready to run a big race. GET YA BETS ON (10) comes in fresh and will be running on but might need it. TORREVEAN AMY (2) strips fitter but is more of a novelty chance. STELLA MAJOR (4) needs some luck but is racing well. FOLLOW THE MUSIC (8) and APOLOGIZE (9) capable.

Tips: 7 1 4 10

Suggested Bet: EYE BETTER (7) each way.

Race 5

HOLY HECKA (4) has good early speed and is third up into the preparation and nearly got a metro win last time out, looks a major player in this and can use that speed to become prominent. CURADH (2) ran into bother at a vital point last time out and looks a solid chance here, will be driving hard for the front and deserves a win. YAWOMA (1) bounced out the gate well last time out and won, still waited for them late but won a race which is the important thing, rises in grade and faces a good test. MIGHTY MAGICIAN (3) creates interest off the back of a decent trial at Byford. HUNT THE MAGIC (8), BEYOND BLING (9) and RONA MAY (10) will all run on. RAKERO RAIDER (11) is a winning chance if he gained a run so keep him safe if that does transpire.

Suggested Bet: HOLY HECKA (4) to win.

Race 6

Back markers look to have it here. TUBBS FARQUHAR (8) gets the swing in handicaps and normally steps better than he did last time out, that can change the result here and think he will run a good race. THOMSON BAY (9) will run a big race, has been stepping well and is in the bubble and hard to hold out when he is racing like that. DEL BOCAVISTA BAY (10) is on the quick backup and that could affect him off the back of a metro run, can mix his speed early. I SEE FIRE (2) is the runner that can win without surprising, he is crying out for a victory. WESMEDAD (6) mixing her form but could feature in the novelties with MAJOR FREEWAY (7).

Tips: 8 9 2 10

Suggested Bet: TUBBS FARQUHAR (8) each way.

Race 7

FIORD (8) looks suited here, there could be a little bit happening early and he has good closing speed, should settle close enough and will be joining in at the right time, hard to hold out. JORDANO (6) is a winning chance if he can get to the top cheaply, got away with plenty over the mile at Bunbury before being run down, this grade suits. SHES MY LITTLE GEM (1) could be an improver but JOE WITH THE FLOW (2) falls into that category, and both might try and lead with SPORTS CENTRAL (5) wanting to get forward.

Suggested Bet: FIORD (8) to win.
