Luckless three back, luckless two back and then last start presented on straightening but was run down late by the likes of Snippy Sean and Jackpot Bingo. Back to a maiden and gets every chance. SMART SHADOW led two back when run down late by Astro World and then last Sunday at Bunbury ran third behind Amazing Cheat and Le Troy last weekend. Victoria Corver should take her straight to the top. NEAP TIDE looks a real one paced staying type who will need to start winding up a long way out. AH KUM was only 1.8 lengths behind Think Lika Winner last start. Numbers: 1 – 5 – 3 – 2 Suggested Bet – THINK LIKA WINNER WIN RACE 2 MIRO has been a test of patience as a follow this preparation but really he won’t get many better opportunities than this in a C1 1600. Two back he ran third behind Tribal Ruler and subsequent winner Omerta Grace and then last start he was tested over the 2000 when whacking away. Back in trip, drawn well and a thin race. AUDIO BOY is drawn wide and that might be more suitable than last start when sitting behind the leaders. THE ROOSTER made his WA debut in a C3 that had lengths on this. AYUMI ran well last weekend but a mile may stretch? Numbers: 2 – 6 – 1 – 4 Suggested Bet – MIRO WIN RACE 3 SWEET EYES had a lot of trials before finally making it to the races and ran well into third behind Astro World and Smart Shadow (goes round in Race 1). Like the way she found the line and gave the impression that she would get over further. 54kg against the older horses looks a luxury. ROYAL TROPPER has legs going everywhere when watching his replays. He doesn’t quite know what’s going on just yet but he found the line as well as horses like Think Lika Winner and Ah Kum last start and that form is on display in Race 1. SKY GOD is better than what he showed last week. KNENTII is a long time maiden who heads West. Numbers: 13 – 12 – 9 – 1 Suggested Bet – SWEET EYES WIN RACE 4 HAIDA GWAII really impressed at trials. Quiet trial into third behind maiden talents Queen Of Hawks and Pond Master and then bolted in by almost 4L at her most recent 950m trial. 54kg as a 3 year old filly taking on the older horses but looks a ready made race horse. RED AUTUMN went forward on debut in shades and over-raced. Last start went to a Saturday race without shades and ran really well into third behind Keep Ita Mystery and Sir Dreamalot. Raw ability. CASHEL PALACE has looked good in recent trials. DUBAI’S DAUGHTER strikes a deep maiden. Numbers: 11 – 4 – 9 – 3 Suggested Bet – HAIDA GWAII WIN RACE 5 MISTER RAFFLES ran well on debut when only coming out of a 400m jump out. Didn’t get out until the race was over, travelled well under Chloe Azzopardi and Hez Got The Safe, Pond Master, Spirit Guide are better types than most of these. SUPERFLOUS was eating up the ground late in the trial over 950m. Makes his debut over 1300m and likely settles rearwards from the wide draw but if they can make ground then watch for him late. STAR PROPHET went around at 150-1 fixed last start but nearly won in the four-way photo with Alma Mater, Flinders Lane and Chino La Diva. Still not sold on that as a form reference but it was a great effort. SAMARA’S JOY continues to hit the line. Numbers: 7 – 1 – 10 – 4 Suggested Bet – MISTER RAFFLES WIN RACE 6 POND MASTER loomed large when getting past Spirit Guide first-up but then couldn’t hold out the late charge of Hez Got The Safe who looks an above average type. Will need a big ride from the draw but looks progressive and is versatile. With even luck he’s the one to beat. MIGHTY HOSANNA is yet to find the fence on race day. Expect when she does we’ll see a handy filly. Like her determination. SMART ENERGY is drawn poorly but the most recent trial splitting Yonga Pride and Rally The Troops was his best. BIONDO was a far better run than it reads on paper first-up. Numbers: 5 – 11 – 9 – 1 Suggested Bet – POND MASTER WIN RACE 7 MISS WALL STREET put the writing on the wall last start with a fast finishing effort into second behind progressive mare Camera Action. She charged to the line after getting well out of her ground and from a better raw can settle closer here. Nice race for her on paper. ONE PUNCH has been really good without winning this preparation. He’s had excuses on occasion but it’s getting to the point where he needs to come out and win one of these. LIL CAPRI gets weight relief with Chanel Cooper and has a set of shades going on. TALK TO WYN didn’t travel at stages last start. Numbers: 7 – 5 – 8 – 4 Suggested Bet – MISS WALL STREET WIN RACE 8 JANNY is speedy but she’s also capable of sitting just behind the speed and showing a turn of foot. Hard to miss the recent trial and after Chanel Cooper’s claim she should get the right run and has a winnable weight. WICKED VENOM maps to get a soft run behind a hot tempo and that’s exactly how he won his C1 1000 at Ascot back in March. LORD SHIVA has been a costly conveyance this preparation. He’s going to win his fair share of races with his racing pattern but he didn’t seem to find when asked last start. CLOSE TALKER is a more than capable sprinting type and yet another with high speed. Numbers: 5 – 4 – 2 – 6 Suggested Bet: JANNY WIN RACE 9 LOOKS is going really well now for Tom Wolfe. He’s not an easy horse to handle or to ride but they seem to have figured out that the best way is not to fight him and just to allow him to do his own thing. He finds the front, he has a high cruising speed and he can get rivals chasing a long way out. MEGAMI wasn’t too bad fresh in a race where the winner destroyed them and the remainder of the field finished in a clump. QUEENSLAND DIESEL is improving with racing. COSTA DEL SANTO won well four back. Numbers: 8 – 1 – 4 – 3 Suggested Bet – LOOKS WIN Quaddie (Race 6 – 9) 5,11 5,7 2,4,5,6 1,3,8 Market Market
