Warren Huntly’s Wednesday Sandown Preview Posted on September 12, 2023September 12, 2023 | Posted by Warren Huntly Race 1 CATTRALL resumes at a suitable trip, she worked home strongly at her last run and has trialled well recently. ZOUSUKO is fit and will make her own luck, dropping back to 1300m could be a positive. FINALE has been moving well at trials and jump outs well without being tested. GRINZINGER BELLE and USK VALLEY are in the mix. Selections: 2,12,4,5 Suggested Bet: Cattrall each way Race 2 PRINZERRO comes through a good form race behind Scentify and looks suited at 1300m. PONTIPINES worked on the speed last time and may settle better with blinkers off. ZONDEE can make his own luck and will strip fitter second up. DELIVERING and ROVNO AMBER have claims. Selections: 9,8,13,1 Suggested Bet: Prinzerro to win Race 3 MOYA LASS has a touch of class and has trialled nicely to resume at a suitable distance. TOROPEAK was well supported to win second up and should be further improved. APERITIVO got the right run to win last start but looks capable of measuring up to this slightly stronger event. THE MARG FACTOR is fit and racing well. FOREIGN RAIDER dispalyed a hint of a return to something like her early promising form last time. Selections: 3,2,6,7 Suggested Bet: Moya Lass each way Race 4 Good race with some promising types but no more promising than VON HAUKE for mine. He was luckless last start and has trialled up in great style for his fresh run. HELIX fits the promising category and wasn’t suited on the deteriorating track first up. EXTRATWO is building a handy record and should strip even fitter than her last start win. BELMIA has plenty of upside but not a lot of early speed and gets blinkers first time. Selections: 7,3,5,10 Suggested Bet: Von Hauke to win Race 5 RIPROAR hasn’t had much luck at his two Australian starts and with any luck from the draw looks hard to beat. TARZI CALLING has also been racing without the best of luck and gets blinkers back on. ALWAYS HAPI will settle back in the field and be strong late. RAMAZZINA showed talent in her first prep and has been jumping out well. Selections: 12,8,4,11 Suggested Bet: Riproar each way Race 6 Competitive race. BRAZEN KINGDOM doesn’t run poorly and should be at peak fitness now. He should get a nice run from a favourable draw. GEORGIE GET MAD will make his own luck and strip fitter third up. TOLPUDDLE has improved nicely at each run this campaign and should appreciate 1800m. FIVE RINGS looks progressive and can measure up after a dominant maiden win. FALCON OF MALTA looks part of the speed and can give a sight. Selections: 10,6,9,11 Suggested Bet: Brazen Kingdom each way Race 7 Another competitive event. SECAUTION adds some new blood and her form through Xtravagant Star two runs back reads well. ANA JAAHZA has jumped out well to resume and the form through Mollynickers and Brave Mead also reads well. PRANCING QUEEN is fit and consistent. LADY DI DI, NICCOLITE and SQUIZZY MIZZY are among the other chances. Selections: 5,14,4,9 Suggested Bet: Secaution each way Race 8 WATADEEL won well first up and should appreciate the extra 100m, his second up record is ok. CALICO JACK is unbeaten over 1300m and looks well placed getting in below the minimum weight. WORSFOLD will settle back in the field and be charging late. PASCERO has trialled nicely between runs. Selections: 11,13,8,3 Suggested Bet: Watadeel to win Race 9 GOLDEN PATH looks promising and has trialled impressively to resume. FARETTI is capable first up and has looked sharp at the jumpouts. TIJUANA has been kept fresh and jumped out nicely between runs. WISHLOR LASS looked good in her first prep. She’s better suited on drier ground than her recent jumpouts which have looked ok considering the track conditions. BOOGIE DANCER has class and will strip fitter. Selections: 8,4,1,13 Suggested Bet: Golden Path to win Market Market
