Better box here, a look at the track now and he’s ready. Can win, should place. Great EW bet!! Race 5 No. 4 Barossa Rose She needs to avoid a wide runner inside but she isn’t stepping so this can work in her favour. Going well here and can hit the frame again with a clear run. Race 6 No. 4 My Time Good run last week and can provide the upset to Pudding here. Improvement and small field helps and if he gets in front of the Fav, will take all sorts of catching here. Top 2 player at least. Race 8 No. 1 Naval Guard and No. 8 Oh Yeah Alright Left it in last week with the red but he can improve and go better this time. Will drive up quickly and nearly lead here. It’s the 8 who is boxed to give a sight though and he will muster hard here and be awfully hard to stop if he lands up on the arm early. Race 9 No. 5 Sanitized She just needs to smoke the pipe on the fence early and wait for these to go at it to the first turn. Bound to be trouble which she can slide underneath and avoid. Will hit the line hard after that and great EW go here. Race 10 No. 9 Floki’s Revenge and No. 2 Kinjarling A couple at odds who can stun here. Both know the track and a few of these will wander around and get tired late. Either of these only have to be close and they can surprise in the run home. Race 11 No. 8 Ether Monelli She went horrible last week but is much better than that. Can utilise the box to show speed and muster up quickly and if she is in a striking spot up the back she can go on from there to hit the frame. One more go. Race 12 No. 7 Teflon Dusty and No. 4 Apollo Fun The 7 the best bolter of the day. Goes fast mid race and sustains it to the line. Well drawn here. Can stun. The 4 has talent and if he led he would prove awfully hard to catch. A good arm dog who runs time at Cannington. First look here though. The 7 the EW go. SANDOWN PARK Race 2 No. 8 Rumour Has It Progressive little staying type who comes on strongly out wide and can go well again here. Made nice ground late last start and will be looking to punch up out wide. Well boxed here and can hit the frame. Race 4 No. 8 Galloping Speed Limited but capable type. Well boxed and makes a quick run mid race over the trip as shown last week. Big quote to see a repeat and he can hit the dais with early luck. Place heavy. Race 5 No. 2 Fabs Vegetable and No. 8 Why Not Pearl The 2 gets a good draw finally and can capitalise here. Just needs a good step and he’s right in this. Can reel off big sections when clear. The 8 is a good smokie and she went super last week at the big price. Sticks on well and don’t ignore here place heavy. Race 7 No. 1 Targod Shirley Put out of it first turn last week when strung up outside a wide running dog. Much better draw here where she can land much closer and she’s a dour staying type that goes all day. If she’s close up the back she places top 2. Not hopeless at all. Race 8 No. 1 Yachi Bale and No. 8 Aston Tango The Melbourne Cup champ in 1, back to his happy hunting ground. Can punch up here and unleashes up the back as we all know. Clear run and he will take some stopping. The 8 is a chance here to swish over and lead. Can be hard to run down when she does and has a great record here. Race 10 No. 4 Trending Yale Needs to lob on to the fence first turn and get to clear running room up the back. Coming out of a Geelong cup heat where she had no luck and will enjoy this easier company. Can win if she chimes in untouched. Race 11 No. 5 Spring Gonzales Seeing the night out with a bolter. He actually has a fair formline against some handy types and wasn’t disgraced in those. A repeat would see him competitive here and only has to offset the box to be a force at place heavy odds.
