MANDURAH

Race 3 No. 1 Whizz Kid

I reckon he will give these a shock if he steps. He’s better than his form suggests and hasn’t seen an inside box in his life. Musters quick and can run a real big race here at the doubles. 

Race 4 No. 1 Sunset Daphne 

Another who will relish the draw. Good at Cannington last start and goes just as well here. She only has to hold her spot into the back and she will be there at the end. Don’t dismiss her here. 

Race 6 No. 4 Launch Control and No. 7 Global Trader 

Good final this one. Our old mate in 4 will be playing for trouble but he could get that here. A lot of pace and dogs going similar early will see him tack on and wind up. Can hit the dais here. The 7 is a sneaky chance to muster over out wide. Good heat effort and will look to punch up early. Hard to catch if he found the arm. Save there. 

Race 8 No. 2 Opie Monelli

Well we’ve been with him for his last four or so and he gets every possible this time. Boxed to get the right run and he’s going well enough to capitalise. Hits the line well and if he doesn’t produce off this draw we will have to jump ship. He should go close at the EW price though. Can place at least but is a winning hope.

Race 10 No. 4 Marla Penny

She can figure here and is a great price to play. Racing much better dogs than this recently and the class drop alone brings her into the calculations. Vacancies each side will see her settle close and she will keep running on to the line. Top-two player here. 

GAWLER

Race 6 No. 2 Kruger Lass

Was a certainty beat last week. Had them cold when going for the inside run only to be stopped in her tracks and held up again and again. Loves it here and will prove very hard to hold out this time. Top-two bird for me. 

Race 8 No. 7 Succession 

Good effort last start when chasing a leader who got away early. Can go better than that and will rush up out wide early. If he lands close he will be hard to stop against these. Big show. 

Race 10 No. 1 Air Grace 

Boxed to give a great sight. Good box manners and has her best draw. Goes super around here and will use the box to punch up and she sustains a strong run a long way out. Should be hard to hold out here.
