The Scout: EPL Week 27 Posted on February 25, 2022February 25, 2022 | Posted by The Scout Leeds United vs Tottenham Leeds United (15th) and Tottenham (8th) both suffered embarrassing midweek losses, and both will be looking to respond when they meet at Elland Road. Leeds’ loss to Liverpool was expected but losing 6-0 highlighted just how poorly they are playing. Meanwhile Spurs were hopeless in a 1-0 loss to 18th placed Burnley. Leeds have not won in the Premier League in five straight matches, conceding a worrying 17 goals in this span. They’ve now let in more goals than any team in the league with 56. Tottenham were disappointing against Burnley but only a few days earlier were able to beat defending champions Manchester City 3-2. Spurs should have too much firepower in this matchup, despite now keeping a clean sheet in their last six fixtures. Suggested Bet: Tottenham Win & Both Teams to Score @ $3.40* Brentford vs Newcastle Brentford (14th) are tumbling down the table off the back of seven matches without a win. Newcastle (17th) on the other hand are flourishing, going undefeated in their last six. Despite having the second worst away record in the league, Newcastle have picked up four points in their last two road trips; a 1-1 draw with West Ham and a 1-0 victory over Leeds. Eddie Howe’s men continue to improve and have given themselves a strong opportunity now to avoid relegation. Brentford haven’t looked like winning for well over a month now and have conceded at least one goal in their last 10 matches. Newcastle come into this match full of confidence, and I’m confident they leave with maximum points. Suggested Bet: Newcastle Win @ $3* Crystal Palace vs Burnley Crystal Palace (11th) exploded back to form midweek with a 4-1 masterclass against Watford while Burnley (18th) come into this match having won two straight of their own, albeit still in the relegation zone. With both sides coming into this match with strong goal scoring form, and Burnley’s need to keep progressing up the table, I’m expecting an exciting game of football. The standout star for Palace has long been Wilfried Zaha, and he looks back to his best after returning from African Cup of Nations duties. Zaha has scored three goals in his last four matches including a brace against Watford. I think he finds the back of the net again here. Suggested Bet: Wilfred Zaha to Score a Goal @ $3.15* *Odds correct as at 9am, 25th February 2022. Market Market
