Chris Nelson’s Sunshine Coast Best Bets Posted on November 11, 2021November 11, 2021 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 5 No.2 Comments Veteran of only 5 starts to date he already a winner at two of those one of which being first up last prep which is the case again here. He didn’t have a lot of luck at a couple of those runs last prep when giving away too much start before making ground over the latter stages. Fresh over the 1000m without a trial he can sit back along the fence before closing in late, big chance to resume a winner. RACE 7 No.2 Leave Me Along Impressive winner here at the Sunshine Coast over this trip three starts back before running on strongly two back behind the since won again Maestoso when back to 1200m off a freshen up. Last start at the Gold Coast his run on face value was disappointing however he did strike trouble at the start and may have found himself a little too close after racing keenly soon after. Can bounce back with the claim for Leah Kilner. RACE 8 No.1 Shebringzit New addition to the Tony Gollan yard who made good ground at her first appearance for the stable here a couple of weeks ago over the shorter 1800m trip. The tempo didn’t suit her on that occasion however she was very steady to the line cutting back the margin to less than half a length when the judge called a halt. Will relish the 2200m this time around and although her wet track record looks very average on paper they are better efforts than they appear on face value.
