RACE 4 No.7 Re Edit

Chris Waller and Hugh Bowman combine here with this mare who is first up tomorrow. She kicked off her last prep in Melbourne when tardy from the gates before being held up badly in the straight, there’s no doubt she should have won on that occasion however she soon made amends though winning comfortably second up. She showed by winning a recent Rosehill trial she’s forward enough to run well fresh.

RACE 8 No.3 Remarque

Highly rated Snitzel colt from the team Hawkes yard who makes his return to the track tomorrow. He created a big impression winning on debut from the outside gate before no cover tracking wide from the 800m when not far from the likes of Anamoe, Stay Inside, Profiteer and co which is an extremely strong form line. He’s had the two lead up trials winning both which is a great guide from this stable.

RACE 10 No.3 Handspun

Member of the ‘Blue Army’ who put in a cracking effort first up from a break when clocking the quickest final 400 and 200m splits of the race yet she was basically held up more of the straight than she wasn’t! She also recorded the slickest final 600m of the entire meeting. All that suggests she’s come back in great order and looks terrific value from the good draw tomorrow.
