RACE 1 No.2 Cochrane

Team Snowden trained colt who will take plenty of benefit and experience from his trip north second placed finish on debut at Eagle Farm a fortnight back. Not the best to begin on that occasion he drove late at the winner Alpine Edge to just miss out. The additional 100m on Saturday will suit and off the inside gate should get every possible chance.

RACE 7 No.13 Aim

Stablemate to the above runner this one resumes from a break on Saturday. Fair to say he hasn’t exactly lived up to the earlier hype as he was a major player in Magic Millions calculations earlier in the year. He didn’t fire that day and hasn’t done so since however a winner of two lead up trials (terrific pointer from this yard) and the fact he returns a gelding could be enough to suggest he may have turned the corner? BIG market watch.

RACE 9 No.5 Starla

Consistent mare from the Waller yard who should be peaking on Saturday at her third run back from a break. She didn’t have the best of luck first up before giving away too much start latest yet hit the line strongly breaking 22 seconds her last 400m. Yes up in weight however down in grade suggests she can run well.
