Chris Nelson’s Randwick Best Bets Posted on August 21, 2020 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 5 No.10 Roheryn Godolphin trained galloper who has purposely been kept nice and fresh for tomorrow’s Show County. He’s won 5 races in his career to date with all of them being when either first up or off some sort of a break. He’s 4 weeks between starts this time around and has been kept ticking over with a soft Hawkesbury trial recently. RACE 6 No.6 Adelong Flying filly who holds a great record having won her past 3 starts making it 6 from 8 overall. She’ll be looking to get over likely outside the lead from an awkward draw and from there she should show her customary dash and put a gap in her rivals down the straight. She races well fresh and has trialled up nicely for her return. RACE 7 No.2 The Bostonian Kiwi star who resumes tomorrow holding one of the best, if not the best first up record going around! 6 attempts for 5 wins including here at Randwick last prep when winning the Group 1 Canterbury Stakes. Yes this is a terrific Group 1 line-up however he should gain a good run from the inside draw and will be right there when the pressure goes on in the straight. Each-way all day! Quaddie 6 2, 7, 12 8, 10, 11, 16 9, 11, 14 Market Market
