Scott Embry’s Saturday Roebourne Preview Posted on July 26, 2019July 26, 2019 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 DEADLY TOUCH drops back from the 2000m of the Port Hedland Ladies Day Cup to the 1800m and is one from one at Roebourne. Looks very hard to beat and should get punters off to a flyer. GRECO is a massive query at 1800m but should amble to the top and be there for a long way. LEXDEN GAMBLER gets back in races but looks to be handling the surface. CASINO GLEAM next best. Numbers: 2 – 1 – 6 – 5 Suggested Bet – DEADLY TOUCH WIN Race 2 HASHTAG LAD is in form and ran a really good race last week behind King Cool. Was hard in the market in that race and is yet to miss the top 3 at Roebourne. Can lead this field and run away from them. INCOHERENT won his 13th race at his 96th start as a 12 year old. He goes very close at his swansong. Farewell old champ. MYTHICAL TRUST can bob up from time to time. CHICO BUBBLES next best. Numbers: 2 – 3 – 1 – 6 Suggested Bet – HASHTAG LAD WIN Race 3 KILKENNY JOE gave dirt punters a scare at the last Roebourne meeting when looking an absolute, deadest, m.o.r.a.l. after running second to Okina Kuri at Belmont and third to Palachino and Gillespie in consecutive starts. Nat Burke has him flying and he should win again. METALLIC FINISH is just going but can improve. THERE AT FIVE box seats and improves dropping in trip. EXPRESS LIES is well placed here. Numbers: 3 – 6 – 2 – 1 Suggested Bet – KILKENNY JOE WIN Race 4 GONE AND GOT IT holds the current Crown at Roebourne. Loves the surface undefeated after 3 runs. Lumps a big weight and has a legitimate danger but should be winning again. REALISE POTENTIAL is starting to thrive in the North West for Bob Bell. Big danger. FRINGED is not going anywhere near his best and likes Port Hedland more than Roebourne. KRAMDEN has his first start for Dennis Couper and can surprise. Numbers: 1 – 2 – 5 – 6 Suggested Bet – GONE AND GOT IT WIN Race 5 PRINCESS ROSE broke through at her first start for Tom Pike leading all the way in a lowly 5 horse maiden at Marbel Bar. The form has since stacked up with Heroic Words winning last weekend. Leads or sits in the breeze and should go close. TURN OF PHRASE won well at Roebourne last start and is the biggest danger to the stablemate. JUST DAVE is a 23 start maiden but does win one eventually. STRATOSPHILLY gets back but can get home strongly. Numbers: 4 – 2 – 3 – 6 Suggested Bet – PRINCESS ROSE WIN Race 6 BALLIDU BOMBER was one of the bigger runs of the season last start when tramping three deep outside the leader for the entire journey and only nailed in the shadows of the winning post. Draws wide again but with a clean get away Gray can clear a fair few drawn inside. Gets any luck and should go close. SPEED ‘N’ REEF is improving with every run and looks a big danger. EVERYMILE A MEMORY is the biggest X-Factor runner on the card. Won back to back provincial races this preparation and if this was a grass race would be $1.10. Racing pattern sees her back on the dirt, willing to risk. SWIFT PLATINUM has hit form and won running away last start. 2200 is a test. Numbers: 1 – 5 – 2 – 3 Suggested Bet – BALLIDU BOMBER WIN Race 7 THE CHORISTER was stiff to run into Swift Platinum last start and was never a winning chance after the big grey found the front. This race is far easier, he is in form and provided he jumps cleanly Pearly White should get him into a winnable position. DONGJIE WU is closing in on another victory. BOXONLUCY was not disgraced at her dirt debut. FORCE ELEMENT next best but a query at the trip. Numbers: 4 – 3 – 2 – 7 Suggested Bet – THE CHORISTER WIN Quaddie (Race 4 – 7) 1,2 2,4 1,5 4 Market Market
