The Scout: EPL Matchday 18 Posted on December 21, 2018December 21, 2018 | Posted by The Scout Wolverhampton vs Liverpool 22nd December, 4am WST Wolverhampton are back on track following a fantastic run through December. Sitting at 7th on the table they come into this clash off the back of an impressive three game win streak over Chelsea, Newcastle and Bournemouth. Meanwhile LEAGUE LEADERS Liverpool are still yet to taste defeat this season. This Wolves team can score. They have found the back of the net in each of their five match ups against the “big six” this season. Raul Jimenez and Matt Doherty have been destroyred defenses at times this season with four goals and three goals respectively. This is Wolverhampton’s biggest test for the year. Liverpool’s defense is the ranked first in the Premier League, conceding a measly seven goals through 17 games, but it comes into this game with some injury concerns – namely Trent Alexander-Arnold. Too much is on the line for Liverpool to slip up but I do expect them to concede. Suggested Bet: Match Result Liverpool & Both Teams To Score @ $3.40* West Ham vs Watford 22nd December, 11pm WST Things are really clicking for West Ham who have won their last four matches catapulting them to 9th on the table. Their record transfer spend this season might be paying off. Watford’s season looks almost the same as their opponents – except in reverse. They started on fire with four straight wins but have since dropped off, with last week’s win over Cardiff being their first in seven League matches. Watford have not played well away from home with no wins from their last four road matches. Meanwhile West Ham have been electric in their last two games at London Stadium, scoring three goals in each, and most importantly coming away with the three points both times. The Hammers big season signing Felipe Anderson continues to show his class, being involved with six goals in his last seven Premier League games (5 goals, 1 assist). Suggested Bet: Match Result West Ham @ $2.27* Chelsea vs Leicester 22nd December, 11pm WST Stamford Bridge has become a fortress for 4th placed Chelsea who are unbeaten at home in Premier League matches this season. Leicester (12th) haven’t been the force we’ve seen in recent years and clearly miss the creativity and overall talents of Riyad Mahrez. They’ve gone three matches without a win and with a tough schedule to come, are in danger of sliding further down in the standings. The Premier League is dripping with individual talent, but when you think of best this season, there is only one name, Eden Hazard. The Belgium midfielder is having arguably the best season of his career directly involved in 17 goals (8 goals 9 assists). Half of Chelsea’s total goals this season! Eden Hazard is doing what he wants on the pitch, and is making it look easy. It’s hard to see anyone on Leicester’s slowing hime down. Suggested Bet: Any time goal scorer Eden Hazard @ $1.97* *Odds correct as at 8.30am WST 21st December 2018. Market Market
