Trent’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on September 21, 2017 | Posted by Trent Cooper Trent Cooper’s Preview Race 1: MELBOURNE CUP LUNCHEON AT GP MS PACE LETS CHASE THE DREAM (4) has been a beaten favourite as his two WA starts but gets his chance to break through here. He ran a quick lead time when run down late by Thereugo before being unable to catch Harry Hoo when that pacer reeled off a 55.6 last half. This is a drop in class and he should be winning. SKIPPY RASCAL (1) led throughout in 1.57.4 from this barrier three starts back and looks the danger. DEBT FREE CHARLIE (10) and KISSMECOUGAR (11) have nice trailing draws and both look good place chances. Tips: 4 1 10 11 Suggested Bet: SKIPPY RASCAL (1) each way. Race 2: TABTOUCH INTER DOMINION STARTS 24 NOV MARES MS PACE DODOLICIOUS (7) has resumed from a spell with two comfortable victories, both from this barrier. This represents a rise in class but she should be fitter and is the one to beat. DONEGAL RUNDLESCREEK (9) worked hard last week when 3rd to FOXY DAME (8) last week and should be in the finish again. FOXY DAME (8) was well driven to win that race and must be respected again. LOVERS PRAYER (1) doesn’t have the class of that trio but has the draw to be thereabouts. Tips: 7 9 8 1 Suggested Bet: DONEGAL RUNDLESCREEK (9) each way. Race 3: TABTOUCH INTER DOMINION HEAT NIGHT TWO NOV 28 MS PACE IDEAL TYSON (6) led when gunned down late by Shandale in a scintillating 1.53.7 two starts back before being unable to get into the race when down the track last week. This looks more suitable and he can be driven more aggressively tonight. MIGHTY MISTER SHARKEY (3) has won his last three on end and is ready for the rise in class, particularly if he can find the top. Stablemates BRONZE SEEKER (1) and LISHARRY (2) were both only fair at their return from a spell last week but will be fitter and have perfect draws. Tips: 6 3 1 2 Suggested Bet: IDEAL TYSON (6) to win. SuperPick - Race 3 no. 6 IDEAL TYSON - Money Back Race 4: TABTOUCH INTER DOMINION ITALIAN FIREWORKS NIGHT DEC 1 MS PACE HEEZ ON FIRE (11) was in scintillating form last campaign and returned to his best with a fast finishing 3rd to Shandale in his 1.53.7. He is having his first start from the tapes but has won a stand trial and can overcome the 30m handicap. MASTER JAXON (7) resumes after a great campaign and would be hard to beat if near his top. FIFTH EDITION (3) was a brilliant last start winner and would be hard to catch if he found the top. OHOKA KENTUCKY (9) has won two of his three starts back from a break, all from the stand, and must be considered. Tips: 11 7 3 9 Suggested Bet: HEEZ ON FIRE (11) to win. Race 5: TABTOUCH INTER DOMINION GRAND FINAL DEC 8 MS PACE GAZ WANNABET (8) has resumed from a spell with consecutive 2nds in quick time. He was narrowly beaten in 1.54.3 before being edged out by Sprinter in a 55.9 last half. This field doesn’t look as strong and he can overcome the wide draw. HARRY HOO (9) has hit peak form with back-to-back victories and is the other class runner. CAMPORA (10) ran a nice 2nd to Dodolicious last start and can be thereabouts with any luck. KHUN RATHA (5) doesn’t have the class of his main rivals but has a barrier advantage and is racing well. Tips: 8 9 10 5 Suggested Bet: GAZ WANNABET (8) to win. Race 6: MAUREEN CLEMENT MEMORIAL MS PACE SOHO WALL STREET (9) was flying last preparation and beating fields better than he meets tonight. He resumes from a short let up and is the one to beat if he can perform near that level. OHOKA DARCY (12) led throughout to record an impressive victory last week and is a winning chance despite starting from the back line. MOSQUITO BUZZIN (1) has won two of his last five starts in easier company but should be competitive from this draw. ARGYLE RED (3) can be dangerous but needs the right run in transit. Tips: 9 12 1 3 Suggested Bet: SOHO WALL STREET (9) to win. Race 7: NAVY CUP CHICAGO BULL (9) is the state’s best pacer and didn’t lose too many admirers at his first run this campaign when 4th in a pegs dominated affair. He is drawn poorly again but has the class to overcome the barrier. MY HARD COPY (1) is working up to his best form and won’t know himself from this barrier. RUN ONEOVER (6) will run times that will make him hard to beat if he finds the top but that may not be a given here. SHANDALE (8) has been ultra-impressive in winning his last two starts but will find this harder from out here. Tips: 9 1 6 8 Suggested Bet: MY HARD COPY (1) each way. Race 8: WWW.PERTHINTERDOMINION.COM.AU MS PACE OUR ZAK WHITBY (2) was a good winner three starts back before two great 2nds at his subsequent runs. He looks a good chance to find the top and should settle well in front of his two main rivals. LIVURA (12) has won his last two comfortably and is the class runner of the field but has a back line draw to overcome. WHOZIDEAWASTHIS (7) has been placed at seven of eight WA runs and should be thereabouts again. BETTORS AVENUE (1) looks a place chance from the pole. Tips: 2 12 7 1 Suggested Bet: OUR ZAK WHITBY (2) to win. Race 9: BOOK YOUR HOSPITALITY FOR THE 2017 TABTOUCH INTER DOMINION NOW THE WARWICK QUALIFYING HEAT 3 VAMPIRO (8) has been impressive in winning his last five starts and overcame an awkward draw to win in good time here on Tuesday. He steps up in class but looks very promising and is clearly the one to beat. SEA ME SMILE (1) has finished behind Foxy Dame and Rockin The Boys at her last two starts and must be considered from the pole. CEST LEHEURE (11) has been placed at six of his last seven and should be thereabouts again. GANGBUSTER (2) has had five weeks between runs but his recent form was good enough to be in the finish. Tips: 8 1 11 2 Suggested Bet: VAMPIRO (8) to win. Race 10: TABTOUCH MS PACE BETTOR NOT BITTER (9) blew the start when a fast finishing 4th in a standing start event before sitting outside Livura when a game 2nd to that pacer here last week. He is drawn poorly but this is a drop in class and he is the one to beat. OUR JABARI (7) couldn’t get into the race when 6th in the same race but can be driven more aggressively tonight. MAKO SHADOW (8) was racing against stronger company before a short break and should be charging home. WEBB ELLIS (12) has been placed at his last two but will find it harder here. Tips: 9 7 8 12 Suggested Bet: BETTOR NOT BITTER (9) to win. Bet Now
