Scott’s Saturday Belmont Preview Posted on September 14, 2017 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 GIGANTE either leads or box-seats. Backing up off 7 days from a strong on-speed win. WHISPERING BROOK is an exciting mare on returning. Likely aimed at bigger and better races, she may not be fully wound up. REBEL KING has feet issues but his best is very good. MORE ACES has a sticky gate to contend with. Numbers: 1 – 4 – 2 – 6 Suggested Bet – GIGANTE WIN Race 2 ROMAN SKYLAB has really turned a corner recently and this is more than winnable in his current form. Will get back but expect him to be in the finish. SCUFFY finds the fence and will run along out in front. HAYAN LAD was good enough first-up in a strong form race. ANDALUZ was extremely green on debut, looking for improvement. Numbers: 2 – 11 – 4 – 15 Suggested Bet – ROMAN SKYLAB EACHWAY Race 3 OUR FINEST MOMENT should enjoy a soft run just behind a hot top end tempo. Gets every chance from the gun draw. PINZU is going gangbusters but needs a track which plays fair. This may not be his day. FLYING ROAR gave rivals no chance last start when afforded a soft lead. Much more pace here. JUICING CARROTS went woeful first-up, he is worlds better than that. Numbers: 3 – 1 – 4 – 5 Suggested Bet – OUR FINEST MOMENT WIN Race 4 PATROCITY hit the line exceptionally well behind a super talented type last Saturday. This is easier and the trip looks like it will suit. DRIFTWOOD GIRL comes from the same race and was unlucky in the home straight. HEART OF COEUR has trialed well and been scratched from winnable races. PRIVATE DANCER looks to be screaming out for this trip. Numbers: 3 – 2 – 7 – 11 Suggested Bet – PATROCITY EACHWAY Race 5 DYNAMITE DREAM was disappointing first-up after trialing like a bomb. She will likely have to sit outside the favourite but she looks talented. GET THE VIBE is the stable mate who ran an eye catcher fresh. Another tough draw to contend with. SATURIA looks the leader and it’s impossible to fault her form. MISTY METAL was a strong winner on debut. Numbers: 9 – 6 – 3 – 8 Suggested Bet – DYNAMITE DREAM EACHWAY Race 6 MULTIVERSE has come back in brilliant fashion. Parks midfield and if he gets cover will be hard to hold out late. ATLANTA BLUE was stiff viewing for backers last start. He is ultra consistent. ON TREND found trouble in the same race and hit the line well all things considered. YOUNG GINA has been below par on face value so far this campaign. Numbers: 6 – 1 – 3 – 7 Suggested Bet – MULTIVERSE WIN Race 7 SONNEN is probably looking for a staying trip at this stage of his preparation but in a moderate field with blinkers added he can pinch this. PROCLAIMATION was bolting in behind them last start. He will likely open a big quote. FIRST AFFAIR loves the mile at Northam. Needs it dry and gets those conditions. DARK PROSPECT next best. Numbers: 4 – 12 – 1 – 3 Suggested Bet – SONNEN EACHWAY Race 8 JETOOMY was simply sensational last start. He is weighted to win this race and should get a soft run from the gate and prove too classy. WITNESS IN COURT has always looked like a middle distance type. Very consistent throughout his entire career. TRAP FOR FOOLS is an up and coming stayer worth following this preparation. CHARLESTOWN can bounce back. Numbers: 1 – 2 – 14 – 3 Suggested Bet – JETOOMY WIN SuperPick - Race 8 No. 1 JETOOMY - Win Boost Quaddie (Race 5 – 8) 3,6,9 1,3,6,7 1,3,4,12 1,2,14 [button class=”bet-now” style=”btn-default btn-lg” type=”link” target=”false” title=”Bet Now” link=”https://www.tabtouch.com.au/racing/2017-09-16/pr” linkrel=””]
