Winterbottom Stakes favourite State Solicitor has been popular with TABtouch customers firming from $3.20 into $2.90 since the barrier draw yesterday afternoon where the son of Nicconi came up with a suitable alley in barrier 4.

The Grant and Alana Williams trained galloper has won 9 of his 12 career starts and produced a “last gasp” victory last time out when successful in the Group 3 Colonel Reeves.

State Solicitor will again be piloted by Star WA Jockey William Pike who had a great start to the Masters last week when riding a treble including the Group 2 WA Guineas winner Perfect Jewel.

The only other horses to have firmed over the last 24 hours are Profit Street who has trimmed up from $26 into $21 and Malibu Style who has firmed from $34 into $26.
