Race 1

ROCK THEM JOOLS was well fancied on debut and hit the line strongly. He’ll strip fitter and looks suited by the rise in trip. NIC’S CHOICE will push forward and shapes as a strong danger. ULTRA BLUE can also sit handy and and has had the benefit of a run at 1400m. SHUJINKO and NEW KINGDOM come through the same race and have claims.

Race 2

SIRENA maps for a good run, she’ll be close to peak fitness and the form through Tonkin two starts back has held up well. GRASSBURN hit the line well first up and should relish the extra 100m. CONTROLLED ZONE held his ground ok behind Tonkin first up and will appreciate stepping up in distance. HIGHLANDS has jumped out ok to resume for the new stable. NICABUK will strip fitter second up and can give a sight

Race 3

TRANGOOJAHRAY impressed winning on debut after being forced to cover ground after an awkward beginning. FEARLESS WRITER will strip fitter second up and appears well placed this grade after the claim. OUR QUEEN created a good impression on debut and has been jumping out quite well to resume. KIRA hit the line strongly over this trip last time and can settle closer from a favourable draw.

Race 4

Competitive race. SO BRAVE has looked at his two runs to date and the strength of his last start win gives the impression 2400m will suit. SCOTTIE’S LEGACY is having a good prep and also gives the impression 2400m will be ok. VIVIDEEL was well below his best last start but can make his own luck and his run behind Deakin two starts back reads well for this. BLISSFUL LADY and GENRICHERO have claims.

Race 5

POP AWARD looks progressive and should be improved following her impressive first up victory. MR MAGNUS shapes as a likely improver getting away from the straight track. PERFECT PICTURE looked good winning on debut for an in-form stable and must have a case. ELENA MONTERO beat Mr Magnus home last start and will strip fitter second up. QUISEEN has the wide draw to contend with but has jumped out well and will be strong late.

Race 6

DARK JOURNEY was luckless here on Saturday and no surprise to see a quick back up after going to the line virtually untested. ENNA’S DREAM hasn’t quite recaptured her early good form but was solid down the straight last start and should appreciate 1400m. SEPALS broke the maiden well last time and there’s winning form out of that race. ATTAIN worked home well in the same race as Enna’s Dream and gets in ok after the claim.

Race 7

AL DUCA comes through a key form race behind One Long Day and that form held up well on Saturday. He may settle better with a couple of gear changes third up and with that run under his belt. LA FRACAS appeared to have his chance running second in that race and gets blinkers first time ENXUTO also come through that race, he worked home strongly and can settle closer from a low draw. JUSTABOOM did enough first up and will appreciate the rise in distance.

Race 8

Even finish. LADY DI DI has jumped out well between runs and should get a soft run from the inside draw. NODACHI has jumped out nicely for the new stable and generally performs well on the fresh side. INTREPID EAGLE hit the line well after being forced to cover ground last time. VAIL MOUNTAIN should be close to peak fitness, he was back in winning form last start and held that winning form once he found it last prep. PARADISE CITY and STREET ELITE are among the other winning chances.
