Warren Huntly’s Saturday Caulfield Preview Posted on July 24, 2025July 24, 2025 | Posted by Warren Huntly Race 1 CHERISH ME looked one of the better early season two year olds and has jumped out well to resume. OLE DANCER looked good winning in SA earlier this year and has also jumped out in good style. MIEWA is another to show talent in his first prep and is jumping out well to resume gelded. STREET ARTIST jumped out in good fashion prior to his debut and was far from disgraced there THANKS GORGEOUS was beaten by a smart one last time and can give a sight. Selections: 1,2,6,7 Suggested Bet: Cherish Me Each way Race 2 CHINQUI is in good form, race fit and has jumped out well between runs. POP AWARD has plenty of upside and looked good jumping out behind Chinqui in her most recent hit out. VERDOUX also has some upside and looked sharp in a recent jumpout. GALA QUEEN is another to jump out well to resume. The wetter the better for HERBERT PARK, with blinkers going on. Selections: 2,10,11,7 Suggested Bet: Chinqui each way Same Race Multi: Chinqui (Top 2) + Pop Award (Top 4) Race 3 JIMMY THE BEAR is unknown at 2400m but is well treated at the weights, is in career best form and gets blinkers off to help him run the trip. POUNDING chased bravely behind Jimmy The Bear last time, he’s also on trial at 2400m and doesn’t want it too wet. CHIHULY was ok chasing Jimmy and Pounding last start. FERAGO is proven at this trip and beyond and likes it wet. Selections: 2,1,6,3 Suggested Bet: Jimmy The Bear to win Race 4 STOP THE ROCK has looked good winning his last three and gets a claim for an in-form apprentice. ANT didn’t have the best of luck at his first Victorian start and Shockletz ties that form in with Stop The Rock. AMERICAN WOLF will strip fitter for his solid run behind Stop The Rock. PROCEAN also ran well in the same race and has a case. Selections: 1,3,2,15 Suggested Bet: Stop The Rock each way Race 5 SALSA FELLOW is racing in great form and may settle closer from a favourable draw. BOSSY BENITA is building a handy record and will strip fitter for her first up win. ELECTRIC TOMMY is racing through the grades in good style and handles wet ground. NOETZIE was most impressive in easier company in SA last time. BRUTALINA and SCAMPI have claims. Selections: 1,5,4,7 Suggested Bet: Salsa Fellow each way Race 6 SAVAGERY VIBE hit the line well in Sydney last time after also closing off strongly behind a smart one at Flemington prior. SHADAVAR will strip fitter for her return and give a sight. MYSTIC REIGN looks promising and has jumped out well to resume. AREYOUREADYFORIT hit the line strongly last start and gets down in the weights after the claim. Selections: 7,6,4,13 Suggested Bet: Savagery Vibe each way Race 7 EARLSWOOD has returned well, he’s been freshened and looks suited back to 1600m. MUNHAMEK was good without the best of luck last time and the Jimmy The Bear form is strong. REGAL VOW is going ok and might be suited coming back to 1600m. FORGOT YOU may be looking for further but ran well in the same race as Munhamek last start. Selections: 6,3,10,4 Suggested Bet: Earlswood each way Race 8 NEW YORK LUSTRE was a touch underdone, according to the stable, going into her first up run in a key lead up race and is sure to have derived significant benefit from that. BRIDAL WALTZ takes on WFA company but is fit, in form and can make her own luck. BARAQIEL resumes from a tendon injury but is the class runner and has been jumping out well. INHIBITIONS and KIN were both solid in the same race as New York Lustre. YELLOW SAM comes back to 1200m but is in-form and will be strong late. Selections: 8,9,3,4 Suggested Bet: New York Lustre each way Race 9 Even finish. EUGENIUS has returned in good form and maps for a good run. KEEP YOUR COOL has also retuned well and around 1400m seems her best trip. PARIAH PEARL was luckless last week and would be advantaged by any rain. HAARACAINE will get out over further but has been jumping out well to kick off at a suitable trip. HOME RULE and SASSY BOOM have claims. Selections: 15,6,13,8 Suggested Bet: Eugenius each way Market Market
