Trent Cooper’s Gloucester Park Tips – 18 March Posted on March 18, 2016 | Posted by Trent Cooper Trent Cooper’s Preview Race 1: ALLTOOLS – WA`S BEST RANGE OF TOOLS MS PACE C C CHEVRON (2) was a good 2nd after facing the breeze before trailing Bonny Under Fire when 2nd to that mare last week. She is well drawn tonight and gets her chance to break though in town. AVALON BROMAC (10) has been runner-up at his past three starts and will be thereabouts again with any luck from this draw. GIULIANA RANCIC (3) had no luck in the Bonny Under Fire race last week and can be a big improver here. SWEET CHARLEE (1) was a fair 2nd last start and is drawn to be in the finish. Tips: 2 10 3 1 Suggested Bet: C C CHEVRON (2) each way. Race 2: ALLTOOLS – THE NAME SAYS IT ALL MARES MS PACE DELIGHTFUL JADE (5) has won 16 of her 30 starts and resumes here from a long break and is now in the Hall camp. She hasn’t been produced in trials but must be respected. RACY LACY (1) led throughout in an easier event last start but will love the sprint trip tonight. STUNIN EYES ONLY (4) has been racing well in stronger fields and will appreciate the drop in class. NIGHTWATCH LADY (2) needs the right run but could get that here and is always dangerous. Tips: 5 1 4 2 Suggested Bet: DELIGHTFUL JADE (5) to win. Race 3: ALLTOOLS ONLINE STORE MS PACE GLENFERRIE RUSTLER (1) is richly talented but has struggled to win this campaign and wasn’t overly impressive in beating a moderate line up last start. He draws the pole here and will be extremely hard to beat if he performs near his best. ZNANA (10) has won at two of his three starts back from a break and is drawn to get a perfect run. ALWAYS ARJAY (3) was a close 2nd to Go West U Terror in 1.54.8 last week and shouldn’t be far away. BONNY UNDER FIRE (11) was an all the way winner here last week but can come from behind. Tips: 1 10 3 11 Suggested Bet: GLENFERRIE RUSTLER (1) to win. Race 4: ALLTOOLS.COM.AU CONDITIONED HANDICAP SS PACE ERSKINE RANGE (10) is better known as a mobile horse but his form in stronger races in the Country Cups is too good to overlook. He had second row draws in the Albany, Harvey and Pinjarra Cups that produced a win, 3rd and 6th to Tricky Styx and he looks capable of overcoming his 20m handicap. SIMPLY SUSATIONAL (9) was a bit disappointing when 5th at his return but strips fitter and is classy. ATLASTALONE (5) has won three of his last five and is a major player here. EMINENCE GRISE (2) flies the stand and is a chance to repeat his win from last Friday. Tips: 10 9 5 2 Suggested Bet: ERSKINE RANGE (10) to win. Race 5: ALLTOOLS WESTBRED QUALIFYING HEAT 3 MS PACE LEFTRIGHTGOODNIGHT (1) led throughout from this draw in good time four starts back before holding up again from the pole when bloused out by the talented Ohoka Cooper. He will either lead or sit behind the leader and looks a major player either way. MACHRIHANISH (3) has been racing in stronger events and will appreciate the drop in class, particularly if he can find the top early. MOONLIGHT ROCKHOLE (10) can improve greatly from this nice trailing draw, while TOMMY BE GOOD (4) shouldn’t be far away. Tips: 1 3 10 4 Suggested Bet: LEFTRIGHTGOODNIGHT (1) to win. Race 6: ALLTOOLS THE CLARKE QUALIFYING HEAT 3 LETTUCERIPRITA (3) led throughout for an easy victory before facing the breeze and dashing home in 26.7 to beat Machrihanish. This is a rise in class but he looks capable of making the grade. IMA CONNOISSEUR (1) won his last two starts before a spell in impressive fashion and will be extremely hard to beat if near his top but resumes here without a trial. DREDLOCK ROCKSTAR (5) was a good 3rd in the Pinjarra Cup behind Tricky Styx and will be charging late. DASHING CHRISTIAN (10) is drawn to get a nice run and should be thereabouts. Tips: 3 1 5 10 Suggested Bet: LETTUCERIPRITA (3) to win. Race 7: ALLTOOLS 4YO & 5YO CHAMPIONSHIP THE ODD LOVER (2) has won 9 of his 15 starts and is ready for the rise in class. He was a good 2nd to BETTOR REWARD (4) in a similar field four starts back before comfortably beating inferior rivals and looks hard to beat from the draw. KIMBA BAY (1) has won his last three in great fashion and will lead and give them something to catch. FERNLEIGH REBEL (3) put up a career best performance when winning from the breeze in 1.54.6 last start and won’t be far away. BETTOR REWARD (4) beat a similar field as a $1.30 favourite two starts back but was disappointing in the Pinjarra Cup. Tips: 2 1 3 4 Suggested Bet: THE ODD LOVER (2) to win. Race 8: ALLTOOLS GIFT VOUCHERS MS PACE THE PARADE (3) has won two of her last three starts in devastating fashion and is the one to beat tonight. The race was put on for her but she raced away from a similar field last week and should be well placed from this draw. LEDA MCNALLY (2) is extremely hard to run down when in front over this distance and that looks the likely scenario here. SHARDONS ROCKET (7) was back to his best with two dominant wins before slightly disappointing on Tuesday. TUAPEKA KAHU (5) was placed behind THE PARADE (3) last start and can do so again. Tips: 3 2 7 5 Suggested Bet: THE PARADE (3) to win. Race 9: ALLTOOLS SIDCHROME SPECIALS 3YO MS PACE CHICAGO BULL (5) was ultra-impressive over summer in winning three of his last four starts showing great versatility. He warmed up for this with a recent Byford trial win and is clearly the one to beat. JUST BET ON BLACK (2) has won four of his five career starts and led throughout to win as he liked in his Australian debut. He is well drawn and the obvious danger. HARRY HOO (3) is extremely consistent but looks a notch below his stablemate. FRANCO RAYNER (4) disappointed towards the end of his last campaign but has the ability. Tips: 5 2 3 4 Suggested Bet: CHICAGO BULL (5) to win. Race 10: ALLTOOLS 3YO FILLIES MS PACE SHEER ROCKNROLL (7) has resumed from a spell with two dominant victories after being able to work to the lead. She probably won’t find the top tonight but is still clearly the one to beat. OUR GAMMA LADY (4) has her first Australian start without a trial and is hard to line up but Turvey has elected to drive her over the stablemate. GONE LEICA FLASH (3) has two wins and a 2nd to SHEER ROCKNROLL (7) from her three race starts so must be respected. CATASTROPHIC EVENT (6) looks the best of the rest. Tips: 7 4 3 6 Suggested Bet: SHEER ROCKNROLL (7) to win. Bet Now
