WASA HEAT SEEKER (10) has finished just behind the placegetters at his last two starts but is drawn to get a nice run and should be in the finish with any luck. SUGAR STREET (9) is drawn poorly but drops in class and can make his presence felt. LOUIER LEBEAU (11) has been placed in 11 of his last 13 starts and can be in the money again. Tips: 1 10 9 11 Suggested Bet: HEEZ GOOD AS GOLD (1) to win. Race 2 SOHO SANTORINI (1) led throughout here five starts back and his subsequent form has been solid. He gets the pole draw tonight and is clearly the one to beat. SOLESSEO MATUCA (2) has been beaten as a short-priced favourite in three of his last four starts but does have ability. SHOWPONY (8) broke back into the winners’ circle here last week and can play a part but the draw makes it tough. FIREROCKFIREROLL (10) is drawn to get a soft run and can be placed. Tips: 1 2 8 10 Suggested Bet: SOHO SANTORINI (1) to win. Race 3 MAKE YOUR MARK (1) has been racing extremely consistently and her last start 2nd to Hunt The Magic had plenty of merit. She meets a smart one tonight but has the advantage of the pole draw and race fitness and should give a great sight. TURN THE PAGE (7) is the class runner of the field who has trialled nicely for her return and will be hard to beat. FLEUR DE MAQUIS (4) is racing well and has the strength to be put into the race in the early stages. ZEPHYRA (9) has plenty of ability but the draw makes it tough. Tips: 1 7 4 9 Suggested Bet: MAKE YOUR MARK (1) to win. Race 4 PINNY TIGER (6) had his chance when 3rd in the Pinjarra cup but led from this draw at his previous start against a similar field to what he meets tonight and is clearly the one to beat. JETT STAR (3) was an impressive first-up winner over Franco Ecuador and must be considered on that effort. ARMA EINSTEIN (1) hasn’t had much luck at his past four starts but should be a big improver from this draw. FINVARRA (5) has finished towards the rear at his two runs back from a spell but shouldn’t be far away tonight. Tips: 6 3 1 5 Suggested Bet: PINNY TIGER (6) to win. Race 5 IRA POOLE (1) has disappointed as a beaten favourite at his last two starts but excels when he gets things his way and that looks likely tonight. FRANCO WESTERN (10) sat behind the leader when winning here in good time three starts back and looks likely to enjoy a similar trip here. OUR SHELLEY BEACH (2) has been placed in three of his past five starts and has the gate speed to test the favourite in the early stages. ILLAWONG MUSTANG (11) led when 3rd in 1.53.9 at his last start and looks a good place chance from his trailing draw. Tips: 1 10 2 11 Suggested Bet: FRANCO WESTERN (10) each way. Race 6 MIGHTY RONALDO (3) has produced great efforts when just behind the placegetters at his first two runs back from a spell and this looks a suitable assignment. WATTS UP SUNSHINE (1) is racing well and will give a great sight if he can hold up at the start. FRANCO ECUADOR (6) was beaten as a $1.10 favourite here last week and isn’t as well drawn tonight but does have plenty of ability. FLYING RUMOUR (7) continued his great form when 3rd here last week but has a tough draw to overcome. Tips: 3 1 6 7 Suggested Bet: MIGHTY RONALDO (3) to win. Race 7 ACUTO (1) has only been placed in one of his last seven starts but led throughout here in 1.56.4 in January and a repeat of that performance would see him give a great sight. RASCAL (2) drops considerably in class on his latest assignments and should fight out the finish. LIL HAPPY FELLA (3) wasn’t far away when 3rd to The Miki Taker here last week and is drawn to be prominent throughout. ROCKABALL (8) didn’t have much luck from the pole at his last start but should be running on here at good each way odds. Tips: 1 2 3 8 Suggested Bet: ACUTO (1) to win. Race 8 MISTER LINTON (4) resumes here without a trial for a new stable but showed ability as a 3YO so watch the betting. SIDSTREPPO (1) doesn’t win out of turn but has been placed at his last three starts and should be thereabouts from the pole. TUBBS FARQUAR (3) has been battling draws of late but looks a good winning chance from this barrier. STREET APPEAL (6) is drawn awkwardly again but is racing well and can win with some luck in transit. Tips: 4 1 3 6 Suggested Bet: MISTER LINTON (4) to win. Race 9 PATCHED (8), TRICKY RIC (7) and ALDEBARAN SUNDOWN (3) fought out the Trotters Sprint with the latter prevailing but the longer trip here favours the former pair. LUVAFLAIR (6) always runs on her races and will be suited if there is a strong early tempo. Tips: 8 7 3 6 Suggested Bet: PATCHED (8) to win. Race 10 VEGAS STRIP (6) has used his brilliant gate speed to lead throughout at his three runs back from a spell and looks a great chance to repeat the dose again tonight. PRINCE OF PAIN (2) faced the breeze when a solid 2nd to Golden Lode at his first run back from a spell and will strip fitter for that effort. THE LITTLE MASTER (5) caught the eye when charging home to finish 3rd to Ten To The Dozen at his last start and should be running on again.
